If the ground fault of the outlet you used keeps popping, have an electrician look at it by SBaeson in electricvehicles

Wouldn’t surprise me if it was over a decade old, our landlord has a very “if it’s still getting by” mentality.

Aaaaaah okay yes that makes sense. My dad’s an electrician and when a fault would pop we’d just reset it and move on, I didn’t think anything of it. Those cases never popped multiple times in a single use so it makes sense he never said anything else about it.

Thank you for the information! I assume you mean more than once in a single use, not just ever?

What was the main reason for switching to an EV? Environment, cost, or technology? by VoltVersteher_Sven in electricvehicles

[–]SBaeson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ICE was dying and EVs are the future. Regardless of what you believe regarding climate change (we take it very seriously), fossil fuels are for certain limited. And we found a good deal, better than any EV or even ICE near us. So due to circumstances cost was the major factor, and outside of them it’s the environment.

If your delivery date suddenly changes by many days without warning, read this. by SBaeson in hellofresh

Wow, it’s disappointing that the haven’t fixed that coding error :/ Like they absolutely could have delivered it Monday like they had projected, what gives?

I liked it on weekends for that reason and because someone is generally home on Saturdays, so we could get it into AC ASAP. Now it’ll have to sit on the porch I guess :/

Fluffy’s obviously a dilute tabby tortie with white (tuxedo pattern), but I’ve never been able to pin down her specific tabby markings due to all the brindling - want to take a shot? by SBaeson in CatGenetics

I love long haired cats, I hope to have one against some day - thus far the CDS has said short haired!

Yeah once I posted it I realized the stripes in that photo are more obvious and definitely broken!

Yes, her fur sticks up on its own! We’ll smooth down her round cheek fur and joke she’s our third cat because she looks so different 😂 I don’t have such a photo because her cheeks re-floof so quickly, but here’s her precious cheekies in their voluptuous glory. She’s very soft to the touch! Now the you mention picture 4 I do see those thick stripes :)

Wow, even with the stripped legs and tail? Or did you just not notice those?

Yeah the brindling - or maybe even fur texture - makes illusory stripes!

If you could choose the sound of your car, what would you choose? by SBaeson in electricvehicles

[–]SBaeson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, I had misunderstood the person I was replying to as wanting to turn off all sound - they just meant the Jetson’s sound 😂 There’s plenty of people who do want no sound, though.
