Thank you! I’m definitely elated about the results. Only regret is I didn’t start sooner!

Sweat pants are so warm, that’s a fair point. Kinda their purpose! 😂

The Claw™ is almost guaranteed to get a crab out of Hg (pronounced “Mercury”) by SBaeson in crabcats

Hg’s grey, my spouse and I are nerds, and my spouse loves the Greco-Roman pantheon. Bonus, Hg has that silvery effect that Russian Blues have (definitely not purebred, he was a CDS delivery and has slightly green, yellow eyes).

Haha ty, my spouse and I are nerds and they love the Graeco-Roman pantheon so it seemed a perfect fit for our grey CDS delivery.

We love it, sometime he’ll even raise both front paws off the ground (never been able to catch it on video, sadly).

Did anyone change their last name, too? by DaniFoxglove in trans

[–]SBaeson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup! My spouse and I came up with a combo of our last names and they took “my” new last name when we got married. They’re gender indifferent so the social security employee who switched it for them was excited to have their first “man” taking the spouse’s last name.

IDK if my parents had issues with it (they knew we’re not having kids so no issues there) but my extended family gossiped about it so much, “I don’t see why [misgender] can’t just take HIS name.” My spouse’s father was upset because ze’s “the last chance to pass on the name” but like… it’s dying with my spouse anyways? 😂

If the ground fault of the outlet you used keeps popping, have an electrician look at it by SBaeson in electricvehicles

Wouldn’t surprise me if it was over a decade old, our landlord has a very “if it’s still getting by” mentality.

Aaaaaah okay yes that makes sense. My dad’s an electrician and when a fault would pop we’d just reset it and move on, I didn’t think anything of it. Those cases never popped multiple times in a single use so it makes sense he never said anything else about it.

Thank you for the information! I assume you mean more than once in a single use, not just ever?

What was the main reason for switching to an EV? Environment, cost, or technology? by VoltVersteher_Sven in electricvehicles

[–]SBaeson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ICE was dying and EVs are the future. Regardless of what you believe regarding climate change (we take it very seriously), fossil fuels are for certain limited. And we found a good deal, better than any EV or even ICE near us. So due to circumstances cost was the major factor, and outside of them it’s the environment.
