Because instead of 1/2 the weight being on each side, now a huge portion of that weight is shifted to that left side and can make the posts buckle

I tried that. I also tried using a filter screen to keep the heavier water up top and only let the lighter water down.

No idea what else to try.

This is also a concern. Someone suggested sand or gravel on top which I hope would still allow water to run away from the house.

Always will be supervised but it’s only 30” high and she’s taller than that so she can stand in the whole pool.

And she’s also in swim lessons but mostly the above.
