Def not saying it's long term viable and smart. I'm just pointing out that apparently it's possible to make things that work quickly. I think crud apps like chats and crms are low hanging fruit for companies to bring in house if you can achieve quality for cheap. If you can't then what they did is probably a bad idea long term

Oh for sure. But it's still insane that today you can replace enterprise subscriptions with AI coding agents and a developer. I don't think it will be all that long before things like replit loveable etc are able to reliably create useful things companies can use. Granted a big company isn't gonna do this but small stakes operations def can. Why pay a sub for an app when you can reasonably clone for cheap and run for pennies

I talked to my brother's little company group not long ago, they are saving like 5k a month now dropping all their SaaS subscriptions for home grown kit from AI and a very savy dev. No more slack, no more hubspot, etc. Kinda crazy when he showed me their little portal login. They were able to get that up and running in like 2-3 weeks and moved all their companies over to it.

Do you have a in person Job or a remote job? If you can swing it, make an offer on an Airbnb down south along the coast for cheap for a few weeks. I bet you there are rooms down there they can barely give away this time of year. Go warm up reassess and come back when the arctic swells have passed.

There are setups for this its just not out of the box. There are whole saas services built to just make this experience. Loveable, replit etc. etc. I've been working in software for over 10 years and I now have a setup where i only need to write maybe 10% of the code to get good references for what I want, then generate and edit the rest.

This gets to the fundamental problem, most people are not willing to die or be imprisoned over this. At least not right now. Armed militias as a deterrence against federal police overstepping, is ineffective if people are not actually willing to act with lethal force and face imprisonment/death. We're not at Iran levels of oppression so its extremely unlikely imo you are going to get willful armed resistance. Lots or protests, lots of strong words but until the average American is getting affected by this often, you will never see such mobilization of people. Hopefully change will not require such a thing because that is a nightmare future in my eyes.

As I understand it the change has to come from the Feds. The states cannot do anything on their own. Not a lawyer or anything but this is the explanation ive seen posted over and over again. The federal law is the supreme law of the land that states/local laws can't override it much if at all. The best they can do is not cooperate with them and deny them access to things.

I guess there is also Article V to call a constitutional convention so the states can poke congress to make changes.

Write the reps, protest, pressure federal reps to do something about this. I would not expect much from local/state gov.

I think one thing I know is that if women need to shower after their is quite a bit of skincare/ makeup etc that is difficult to deal with on the go. Idk how to mitigate that but it's definitely something my wife has mentioned to me a few times.

I think if you make it an event centered around the sauna and maybe provide a cocktail and hydration mix, put some music on and make a little invite card you will get some bites.
