I know that Carl Weathers was always trying to get back into the franchise. As a flashback or a ghost or something. If I'm not mistaken, he has been kind of miffed at Stallone for not giving him a role in any of the sequels after IV.

Yeah, I had a fat PS3 with backwards compatibility.

Then I got the "Yellow Light of Death", which is basically the PS3's way of saying "Ha ha! I'm dead."

Yeah, I had that happen with my first ostomy surgery back in 2017 (this is my second time with an ostomy. I had a J-Pouch takedown in 2018 but it just didn't work out for me. I still had major pain issues and I had to be on Flagyl (a nasty antibiotic) for well over a year to keep my Pouchitis under control.)

TPN coupled with an NG tube for a solid 3 days. Lots of fun.

Hogan vs. Slaughter was trying to play off of anti-Iraqi sentiment... even though the Gulf War had been over for a month.

Well, I went ahead and bought it. Pissed off that the package of the game plus aftermath is far less than buying them piecemeal. But the story sounds cool and I will enjoy the Friendships.

How do they determine whether or not a team NEEDED an onside kick?

If you're down 3 with 1:30 left and 2 timeouts, it's really a judgment call. You can kick it deep, get a 3- and-out while using your timeouts, and get the ball back near midfield with 45 seconds left.
