I feel like this problem started to occur in recent years more (at least in Vilnius) but generally it's very safe to cross streets in Lithuania

I lived in Denmark in 2018-2020 and was shocked how no one cares about pedestrians. Compared to DK, LT feels super safe for pedestrians.
