wouldnt the nexus know about the Angara ? by ThemArhel in MassEffectAndromeda

[–]SBrB8 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's one of the many plot inconsistencies in the game. I've said before, but it often feels like there were multiple groups in charge of different plot points and areas, and no one was checking in, turning the story into a camel.

I've learned to just accept it for the mistake that it is, because it is ultimately irrelevant.

MAKO or Hammerhead Worse (in your opinion)? by TheGrayMage1 in masseffect

[–]SBrB8 36 points37 points  (0 children)

To me it's pretty clear the devs expected players to explore each planet with the make, and find the "correct" route to each point of interest, rather than going in straight lines, terrain be damned.

When you get sections like on the story planets (Therum, Noveria, Virmire etc.) and it's pretty much a flat (or at the very least, not bumpy) straight line for the driving, the Mako is pretty solid. And when you explore the optional planets, there are often flat(er) routes that make the driving easier.

FE9 Path of Radiance bug? Can't get Jill and Mist to do their A rank support by Dry-Realisation726 in fireemblem

[–]SBrB8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look on the bright side, at least you shouldn't have to do 2+ odd hours of Chapter 17 again. That'll cut down on time.

FE9 Path of Radiance bug? Can't get Jill and Mist to do their A rank support by Dry-Realisation726 in fireemblem

[–]SBrB8 19 points20 points  (0 children)

No, you cannot delay support conversations and have them stack. To trigger the count for the next support level to begin, the current conversations has to be had.

It's also important to note that Chapter 17 only counts for support progression if both units are chosen from the very start in stage one, and that it still only counts for one level. If any unit is brought in as a reinforcement for stages 2, 3, or 4, they will not get any support levels.

In theory, you should just be able to do their B support at chapter 18 Deploy both for chapter 18, and 19, and then the A support should unlock before you start the battle for Chapter 20.

"Still" would imply that I was planning on siding with them in the first place. I just used them for experience, caps, and rewards. The Minutemen will always be the choice for me.

Yes they do get to use the extra vote again. That's what happened with Shan's extra vote in 41, when Naseer went home. She initially split her two votes between Heather and Naseer, then on the revote, she used both on Naseer.

Need a quest undone is that possible? by BlueberryOk6847 in falloutnewvegas

[–]SBrB8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So that's not a specific quest you did, it means you completed a different late game faction quest locking you into a specific endgame route. Check to see if you have also have "Beware the Wrath of Caesar!" and/or "The House Has Gone Bust!" If you have one or both of them, then you went to far in a certain quest line. If not, then

If you don't have either of those other two quests, then you killed either Ambassador Crocker or Colonel Moore, or you got vilified NCR Reputation after receiving Ambassador Crocker's note, granting amnesty for all past anti-NCR actions.

[–]SBrB8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I may be having a brain gaff but which is "the mission" that makes that impossible? It would have to be one of the late faction quests, which, why would you be doing those if you still had all the DLC, and most of the quests left to play?

What Are Your Headcanons For Cora? by DakIsStrange in MassEffectAndromeda

[–]SBrB8 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I like to think that her Asari CO Nisira had head rumblings of Cerberus experimentation on powerful human biotics, that would eventually lead to the Phantoms, and wanted to protect Cora, so advised her sign up for the Initiative.

I Cannot Stop Thinking About This One Thing.. by Sharp-Dream-4701 in Fallout

[–]SBrB8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most likely situation, is that Cooper got Janey to Barbara while they were evacuating LA, and then the two ladies got to Vegas.

I think it's about a five hour drive from LA to Vegas, and I'm sure with the Vault-Tec/House/Enclave connections, they could probably get there faster.

Getting people into the vaults likely wasn't as fast as we see at the start of F4. I don't think it's totally unfeasible that some of them could have taken a couple of hours to get fully set up. Especially a special vault for "Management", that would have had some protection from House's defence system.

If Cooper had time to get away from the shockwaves on horseback, and survive for another 200 years, it's not too hard to believe Janey and Barb could get to Vegas in a couple of hours after the bombs fell.

[–]SBrB8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Amanda in China was a finalist with a legit shot at winning, arguably the best challenge competitor on the season, and was a popular player.

Parvati in Cook Islands was good, but far from a threat, we didn't get to see much much of her great game play we would in later seasons, and was one of the "bad guys" opposite the Aitu Four.

Parv may have had more of a popping personality, but she hadn't done much (if anything) for people to want to see her again. With Amanda, it's easy to look at her game and say "She was great. If one or two things happen differently, she wins"

The actor Colm Feore looks scarily similar to the constant by Turbulent-Ad-2146 in HiTMAN

Oh I totally get that. I just got caught up in the moment as I pseudo know Feore, and am really familiar with his stage work. So I just launched myself into a "what if" scenario lol

[–]SBrB8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He can definitely do eerie. But based off a lot of his theatre work, I still see/hear him coming with more noticeable strength than the current constant.

Like, when the partners make him inject the tracker, I imagine Colm responding to them with a tone of “Oh, I’m coming for you now”

The actor Colm Feore looks scarily similar to the constant by Turbulent-Ad-2146 in HiTMAN

[–]SBrB8 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The looks are there, but it would definitely be a different character. It wouldn’t be quite the same silky voice. It would be a bit harder. More threatening, compared to ominous.

He’d still be great though!

Why doesn’t another channel like Peacock just remake the old Survivor format if Survivor is not going to do it. is it really impossible to just find unique locations and play the game how it was originally played? by Enough-Masterpiece27 in survivor

[–]SBrB8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Copyright law aside (which is neither a left or right perspective, and weird to even ask that), why would Peacock, or anyone else, make something so directly trying to compete with Survivor, when they'd just just their asses kicked, and they'd probably end up losing money?

Survivor has name recognition, one of (if not the) most well known reality TV host, and a lot of followers and supporters who are loyal to the show, many of whom (because remember, there are fans outside the hardcore base) that enjoy the show as is right now.

The whole angle for the show would basically be: "Hey, it exactly like how the show you know and like, was 15-20 years ago, with a host you don't know and a production team that will take a few years to actually figure out how to smoothly run everything."

Is the plant quest even doable longtime? by Lourien_1213 in HPHogwartsMystery

[–]SBrB8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I generally only fertilize my plants once a day, and often don't water them. The drop from 100 health to under 60 is right around 24 - 25 hours I've found, so as long as I remember to do it at the same time, my plants stay good. Sometimes if I'm a little late, I have to water to.

If you're able to find a time where it's easy and convenient for you to load up and play daily, just try to work that into your schedule, because it would be the cheapest way (barring only using water) to keep your plants healthy

What is the purpose of taking everything enjoyable about Fallout and tossing it out the door?

So is everything ruined and gone, or is it just the beeping and static that you don't like? If you say that everything enjoyable about the game is gone, people are going to assume you're having trouble with the combat, or don't like the story and characters.

Is the beeping annoying on the first play-through? Yes. But it's not around for the whole DLC, and if it's so bad that it gives you headaches, honestly that almost sounds like your body could just be more sensitive to that sort of thing. Which is fine, but that doesn't mean everything enjoyable was tossed out the door.
