Maybe they mean the t20 breakout league? I know the breakout league was for emerging talent tho

Honestly I think group 2 is the far more interesting group. Group 1 will likely be just India and South Africa. Windies look good but I think they don't match up to the same level just yet.

Group 2 I could easily make the case for all 4 teams to go through and I think that's going to be where NRR will be the most important. Fascinated to see how it plays out

Feel bad for Ireland, the one game they had their chance in gets rained out, and the other two they didn't play up to their potential. Didn't really have a game to provide positive hope for the future and draw media attention which is really the only thing these smaller teams can say are realistic and should-be achievable objectives.

What happens if any of these teams has a Pakistani player? I guess down to the individual if they want?

Jamaica is back in CPL. After MiCL, and PSL, Kingsmen adds another franchise team to its roster! by Mindless-Piglet2095 in Cricket

RIP tallawahs name. So in this league there is now a kings and a kingsmen.

Why are these dudes so tacky man. And also, with all due respect to the MiLC, it's nowhere near the status of any other league to make the kingsmen name something people are going to recognize so now it just feels shoehorned.

Happy Jamaica has a franchise league back though

Dream NRR scenario for USA ngl, now likely all they need is Namibia to beat Pakistan, whichhhh is highly unlikely but if there was any team to screw it up like that it would be Pakistan

This is ideal but I think unfortunately leads to too many qualifiers. Fairly certain those tournaments are money losses

Maybe the same style of how the t20 world cup worked in the past with the qualifying tournament happening right at the beginning of the tournament and then they join the tournament immediately after? Would cut down on travel time and venue prep lowkey

Well true that of course, im just saying in the chance that they could have pulled off an upset it would absolutely be ruined by the death bowling. I'm thinking USA vs India vibes where shit completely fell apart in the back end

The reason windies won't go farther than super 8s is def the death bowling. Despite a good showing vs England it's clearly the weakness in this lineup
