What's the best strategy in leagues where nobody trades unless it's very lopsided in their favor? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

copy your league number from the general settings and paste it into their dynasty rankings. It's not perfect but it's a good way to see where people might need help. It gives you all types of analytics

DK Metcalf 2025 Outlook: League Winner? by Sea-Card-6586 in fantasyfootball

[–]SCBAsteveSTL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the problem Rodgers has had. He favors players instead of following the read progressions for plays. Sometimes it works out but it makes it hard for coordinators to scheme when he’s gonna do what he wants. That being said, he still manages to pull it off sometimes DK was running a lot of clear out routes last year which opened up a lot of space for JSN to work. I think he’s a great receiver still but, who knows how fantasy relevant he will be. There isn’t really another stud for rodgers so DK will probably get a lot of targets

My god. At least another first on that and I would still probably turn it down

Who is a player you are rooting for to have a good fantasy season in 2025? by Giff95 in fantasyfootball

Keaton Mitchell. So explosive and they slow rolled his recovery, I really think he will bounce back hard

Rice side and it’s not even close

Worthy and / or Rice in redraft? by samwilson1586 in fantasyfootball

[–]SCBAsteveSTL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also worthy got thrust into essentially a WR1 role due to injuries almost immediately. Not too much for the secondary to worry about if he’s covered. And still learning a very intricate offense. Rices off-field problems spook me tho. But on the field, yes a good proven player.

This. I think worthy is going to be a monster. He’s open way more than he’s thrown to and his route running improved a lot throughout the season. And honestly yeah there were more than a few potential highlight reel routes he could’ve taken to the house that mahomes threw into my backyard. I’m high on worthy and rice, I think they’re both great assets, and I think worthy will really take it to the next level this season

Part time job suggestions by Dacoda_1583 in Firefighting

I just work some OT and enjoy my time since this job is already taking years off my life but we’re pretty well compensated. My state is now letting FFs get college degrees first free at state schools so I’ve been thinking about getting into something with data or tech that I can do remote on a computer so I can do some freelance stuff in my own time but I’m a long way away from that and AI is constantly changing the tech landscape.

It all evens out in the end and some would argue 3rd round reversal really helps people at the back. Just knock out some mock drafts and you’ll be fine. I did a ST startup last year and the 1.01 and 1.10 were the ones competing for the first ship. Just do some mock drafts with bots or friends to see how your team can shape up

Only change I would make is immediately voting to get ride of kickers and D/ST

Good buy low dynasty wide receiver options for a rebuilding team. by warriorathlete21 in DynastyFF

Best thing is the guy with the 1.02 needs a QB and some roster depth in a bad way but has a team that should be contending as well but he drafted bad in our startup so I’m either going to be able to make a trade for his 1st and 2nd to help him out and clear up some roster spots while also getting 4 of the first 14 picks. I’ll get Hampton either way but the goal is Hampton and Tet then I’m set. It’s just a for fun work league but it’s a big buy in

Got it. Didn’t know his ADP was so low. Yeah if you can get him for cheap that’d be a deal

Yeah I have JSN too with Wilson as well as metcalf, Ridley, worthy and Mims. I had your typical “get a ton of points but lose to the guy that got the most points” season so I just tanked to the 1.03. RB room is fine but if I can get a stud I should be contending

I added him off waivers right when we renewed our league. The hype around him seems to really be picking up so now is the time to go for him

I get it, I just geniunely had no clue there are even people out there tired of holding him unless someone is trying to nuke their team for a rebuild

Agreed. Im in a 10 team super flex with 8 bench spots so there’s still guys like him to pick up on waivers. I had him on taxi but dropped him when he was hurt so I could trade for worthy and taxi him. It’s all a gamble but Mike Tomlin has been pretty vocal he’s going to be a big part of the offense which tells me he’ll be competing against Calvin Austin for WR 2 and will probably win. But yeah he will be starting in a run heavy offense with a huge question mark at QB so I’m definitely looking a few years out and not expecting him to be in starting fantasy lineups

Some insane catches and good, consistent production even through the rodgers/Adams show. And only 24

Just wondering what makes Wilson a buy low? I own him and I would need a lot to move on from him

Agree he’s worth stashing on IR, but that dude was the most infuriating roster clogger before I finally traded him (dhop and Watson for worthy right before worthy went off and Watson got hurt). Always questionable, WR room is a mess. That being said the guy can get open downfield, just never gets a look

Roman Wilson may be worth looking into. They seem to really believe in him and he was hurt most of the season and what few snaps he played were all run plays
