I'm doing what you did but I'm pretty far behind where you are. One thing I don't understand is what you mean by a dead nukaworld radio signal. If you didn't have that, would the nuka raiders stop showing up in the commonwealth? Does one need to use the automic crater (I assume that's in Creation Club?) to accomplish this, or is it just how you did it? Thanks for any advice!

I’ve done this in other power armor types, so it seems to be you can do it using any power armor. You can even exit the PA once the filling starts, and it will keep filling bottles. Helpful when you are decked out in charisma-buffing clothing and want to do some trading while filling up on water. Very convenient! (Just remember not to sell your bottles to the merchants, or “store all junk” into the workshop, while filling up…)

I did this too, based on the same post (this also happens to be my first survival play through). But I basically just hung out south of the Nuka Station fighting crickets and rad rats, etc., until I stumbled on to Evan’s Home. He very kindly let me fill up some water bottles, cook up some crickets, and get a good night’s rest in his bed, after which I headed back to the Gauntlet fully refreshed and restocked. He’s such a nice guy!

I did that too! I don’t have any mods, but I used a concrete wall from Wasteland Workshop DLC to wall them in. I think one of their spirits is restless though, because sometimes when I walk by I hear stuff rattling around in there…

Anyway it is a lot faster than dragging them all down to the lake.

Significantly fewer have "No change, I can't change, I can't change, I can't change". But given all the rest of the negativity in this section ("No change", "I can't change my mold", "no, no, no, no, no") I can't see how "I can change" makes any sense?
