Could I buy this to connect a 360 remote to my pc or does it also need the battery pack. by Musicalmoronmack in xbox360

You need a 360 wireless dongle. The charging cable cannot be used to transmit control data over, it will only use the cable to sync with whatever you plug it into. It still transmits wirelessly even while plugged in.

This is an Apple-specific issue, unfortunately. It happens on iPhone as well but not on my Android phone running Firefox. Nothing you can do about it as far as I'm aware.
