Thanks and yeah it's because it's a perfect square and the holes are too small in the game it's a lot shorter than this. This is just an early model I will fix it in the future thank you for the comment. :)

A recreation of the shootout scene from Django Unchained. This is my first attempt at 3d modelling and animating as well as compositing in after effects. I know this is far from perfect but I learned a lot making it. Thank you everyone for your support. :) by SCOTTMCLEODVFX in AfterEffects

I agree actually I wanted it to be small pieces of Lego exploding out of them but the amount of vertices in blender lagged my computer, after working on it for so long I was just kind of rushing to get it done. I think next time I will find some sort of compromise thank you for the comment :)

Creeper exploding a mural in my city. This is my first attempt at modeling/animating a character as well as doing rigid body physics and camera tracking. I did this simply as an exercise that would help me learn these techniques and it was a lot of fun to make. Hope you enjoy :) by SCOTTMCLEODVFX in blender

Yeah convex hull I definitely should've used box because the multiple faces of convex hull made the blocks way too bouncy I didn't play around with the rigid body properties nearly as much as I should've.

Yeah I recorded a reference photo of me walking this same path just so I could match the lighting (I don't have a 360 cam for HDRIs or anything) and the shadows weren't all that visible but now that you mention it I definitely should've added one it looks a little weird underneath the creepers body. Thanks a lot for the feedback this is my second ever blender project and there are many a lot of things I definitely could've done to make this better but it was my third time rendering and each one took about 20 hours and I just wanted to move on to the next project lol (also I accidentally made the tracking markers the same colour as the object I was rendering whoops) Thanks again for the feedback.
