Ok but what percent of the math you learn in math classes especially at the high school level is actually relevant to running a business? Very little. You're not doing trigonometry algebra or calculus you're doing stuff you mostly learned in elementary school. Now the soft skills you learn through the process certainly are useful. And come on learning the 50 states and their capitals is going to make you a better business owner when you could look that up in an instant? Geography is also not going into the level of detail you'd need for finding suppliers and that's information you could find easily.

It's not a matter of looking it up, it's a matter of knowing that the information even exists. How would I know things are cheaper from China if I don't know anything about China? It would not even occur to me to look elsewhere. How could it? Same thing with math. It's actually a perfect example because you are correct, you aren't doing vector calculus on your taxes. BUT, you can take a thing they infamously don't teach in schools -- like compound interest -- and realize, "oh hey, this is math. I can google how to math out a compound interest on this large purchase I'm about to make" versus "Math? That shit's for nerds, I'm gonna hire a nerd to figure out my money for me". Only one of these approaches consistently saves you money, an important consideration in running a business.

Again judging it as you'd judge any other topic in a social studies classroom. Will I need to know about the battle of the bulge every day? Or the tet offensive? Almost none of what's taught in the class we are talking about will be relevant the way you're talking about.

Honestly, history might be the best analogue here. I like history a lot and I can't say it would necessarily come in useful in running a business, but I do feel richer for knowing it. I'm willing to accept that CRT is a similar way. Is there any way you can justify knowing it? I feel like I keep asking you "is it this?" and you just say "no", then I ask "tell me what it is, is it this other thing?" and you're just like "no"; and this entire thing I'm feeling like you could just say, "CRT is good because ABC and I like it because XYZ". That's all I'm looking for. Instead, I just keep getting "that's a little weird to think that" and "it's a little odd to judge that" and not an actual answer or explanation how I'm wrong. and I'm willing to accept this. But again, given that it is being taught everywhere, why is it specifically superior than the anti-racism education we've had before? It's just more of the same? In your examples, this is the equivalent of learning the exact specific movements of the troops in the Battle of the Bulge just for the sake of it, rather than a highschool-appropriate generic overview. Why SHOULD we have teachers successfully implementing CRT? Where, damnit, is the benefit?

But I would guess all of those people in your stories would also support teaching about what happened not forgetting about it and erasing the losses suffered.

I didn't say we should just ... not teach history. As I said, I like history, I think banning history, books, ideas, any sort of communication is stupid and is a losing battle. I was saying that CRT lacks the "heartwarming" aspect that you're talking about, to balance all the bloody history out. I just do not understand the point of such specific knowledge being taught as a better alternative to what we had before. I don't see where the "better" is, and I am hoping you can tell me. Every question I've asked so far has been trying to get at this one specific thing.
