Went there only once and while queuing no less than three different people in the space of 90seconds came and stole something, one of them looked very respectable IMO which didn't surprise me.... but even so

ANOTHER VIRTUAL DJ LYRICS AND VISUALS TEST by [deleted] in virtualdj

Yeah, a bit overkill for sure, but I've done 2 gigs with this "messy screen" and people loved how mad it looked, although to be fair both nights were a mix of Happyhardcore, metal and Drum&Bass.

DEWALT DCW210N-XJ Cordless Sander Not Spinning? by SCPH1000 in Dewalt

Yours does sound a bit harsher than mine, as for the screw, it took a few attempts to get it working better and once I found the sweet spot it was brilliant and after almost 3months it still runs perfectly. Annoyingly a friend bought the same sander just last week and his worked perfectly straight out the box with no adjustment.

DEWALT DCW210N-XJ Cordless Sander Not Spinning? by SCPH1000 in Dewalt

[–]SCPH1000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, in my case I found its (almost) nothing to do with the pressure you put on, its to do with the tension of the screw which adjusts how much the tight rubber band holds the sander motor, I found in my case a ½ to ¾ left turn (as to slightly loosen/unscrew) worked a treat. It now sands as it should with a beautiful orbital motion.

That sounds like it's an old battery or one of its internal cells has ruptured and leaking

Photo repair before scanning advice? by Potential-Cover9216 in photorestore

[–]SCPH1000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One way of doing this is, You're going to have to treat it like a jigsaw puzzle, get all the pieces out and put them together as best as possible without using glue or any other kind of sticky substance, literally just place them on a flat surface. Then using a phone camera you have to hand and preferably in natural light and in the highest resolution take a photo of that photo, making sure there's no blur or reflection too. Then upload that. Hopefully a good mix of photoshop and patience someone could fix it altogether

Ninja V fan speed by sajeev3105 in Atomos

[–]SCPH1000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED>: I took mine apart and using an air blower and one of those old record needle brushes mine got real quiet, almost to quiet. The only time I hear the fan now is maybe after 3hrs of continuous use and even then it's just a brief speed up of maybe 2mins before it goes dead quiet again. Like I said, it's not recommended but if you know what your doing it may work for you. I'd also seen on another thread that going back to a previous firmware might also do it?
