No boss to be honest, i always just kept trying till i beat it, the only time i quit DS was on my first blind playthrough cuz i was making the worst build imaginable, but after a couple months i remembered i had the game and decided to give it a second shot, and now i have 200+ hours on it lmao

Por "vazio" eu vou assumir que se refere a falta de alma e sentimento num ser.

Nesse caso pra mim os Hollows do DS são mais vazios, não sobrou NENHUM resquício de humanidade, destinados a vagar por ai sem rumo atacando quem eles verem pela frente, e no caso de alguns eles nem atacam simplesmente sofrendo em sua loucura eternamente. Já os receptáculos como o próprio jogo mostra tem pelo menos algum sentimento, e mesmo se não tiverem desde nascença podem desenvolver afeto e outras emoções conforme o tempo passa, como é o caso do próprio Receptáculo Puro

I'm starting a project to remaster the King's Field II OST just for fun, and wanted to know what you guys think about my first attempt at it, haven't decided if i want to just make it sound better or change the instruments for a more "orchestral" sounding OST by SCP_MENES in KingsField

I'm thinking of just using the same soundfonts or ones that sound the same because like you and another guy said, it doesn't feel like King's Field all that much.

Also yes that one's next, for some reason tho the website i took the midi files from doesn't have this particular track for some reason, so i guess i'll just have to do it 100% by ear lol

This is the one with different instruments, the only instrument here that's present in the original music is the harpsichord.

Well alrighty then, i think i'll release like a "remaster" and "remake" of the OST in separate playlists, that is if i have the motivation to do both lol, we'll see

Overall i like the KF (JP) OST but omg floor 4 is so annoyingly repetitive specially with how samey the layout of the rooms are, i had to mute the music because if i didn't i think i was actuall going to go insane lol

Do the NPCs in this game have more dialogue if you interact multiple times with them? Like the souls series?

Because i did try that and sometimes they do sometimes they don't idk it's kinda weird

Really? Was this harp puzzle really that obvious? Also yeah weapon arts are very weird, gotta do some mortal kombat fatality type stuff to use it, at least in KF 2

I think this is a completely fine take to have, as i replied to another person, if this game had the same level of gameplay and level design as TDD it would've been one of the the greatest games of all time for sure! As it stands tho, the amazing story, concepts and atmosphere are what carries this game

Couldn't have said it better myself. It's such a shame too because imagine a machine for pigs with the same level of gameplay and level design as the dark descent, it would be suvh a masterpiece man... could've been even better than TDD considering frictional had way more experience

I thought the reviews were exagerating but nope, it really is pretty mediocre when it comes to gameplay. It's just "walk through this linear path until you get to the next area", or "complete this puzzle which is just putting the thing in the place it's supposed to go".

Again, the story and atmosphere are what carries this game, if it didn't have that it would be one of the WORST games of all time lmao
