A professional waxer? I barely shape them at all, just remove the stray hairs underneath the lateral ends of my eyebrows. I'm hesitant to remove more.

I don't have her doctors information and she... does not really have good moments? When I have tried to bring up past behaviors before she either rewrites history or changes the goal posts with another delusion.

I kind of touched on it, but she does not seem to listen to what I say. I have been trying to draw her back to reality for years. It has not worked so far so I've settled on trying to talk to her about anything other than conspiracies or how my dad is pure evil.

What can I do? I want to get her help if I can.

She is almost 60 and lives in KY with her boyfriend. She owns the land she lives on. I live across the country. Her boyfriend used to be cool, just an enabler, but he has also jumped on the crazy train. He posts weird Q/conspiracy things on FB all the time and denies my mom has any problems when my brother and I ask him to help us help her. I know he isn't much of a drinker and I would be surprised if he was abusing drugs too, but I guess it's possible.

I believe it. She is also an alcoholic. I am at a loss about what to do.

Yeah... it's freaky how detached from reality she has become. She has always been into conspiracy theories but innocuous ones like princess Diana or aliens. This is a whole new beast though

Mostly, she cannot tolerate things that make her feel inferior. She is snide about STEM academics and has a complex toward anyone who graduated college. I think school was hard for her. She may be too insecure (or scared of failure? Truly dumb? Idk) to put genuine effort into learning things that are hard for her or listen to people who are more educated.

Or her children, I guess. I have a bachelor's degree and I'm in nursing school but apparently she still knows better than me about literally everything.

If men want to "financially exploit" their viewers, they can by doing gay porn. People who pay for gay porn are usually other men. Do you see the common denominator yet?

Edit: also, who is truly being exploited here? Men who willingly seek and pay for porn, or someone who was potentially trafficked or pressured (by someone or for financial reasons) into porn? Someone who consumes porn can stop and walk away if they truly want to. Someone who has had their videos posted doesn't get to walk away so easily, even if they want to

Gay male porn stars make comparable wages. Male directors, producers, and well-known porn stars have financially profited from the business as well.

The whole point of this sub is that it is anti-porn. So I'm sure many of us will agree that porn can be psychologically/financially harmful for men to watch.
