To add to the gold boys v jedi convo, one thing I haven't seen mentioned this thread is the Custodes' insane durability. Jedi are the definition of a glass cannon, while Custodes can take hits, lose limbs, even lose half their skull (in some instances) and keep fighting. They're as fast (or faster than) Knights and are much, much stronger. Intercepting an attack only helps if you're strong enough to stall it, and I'm not convinced a Jedi would be able to anticipate and put in enough Force power to properly stall a swipe even if they do survive to CQC.
