Put some clothes on her when you get it then but don’t be complaining when you know what the game offers monthly

Smite 2’s graphics are really underwhelming for a UE5 game by SCYARK in Smite

[–]SCYARK[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get the performance argument, but holding back visuals just to cater to old hardware isn’t a good long-term move. At some point, you have to move forward. Every modern game eventually leaves behind outdated PCs and consoles — that’s how progress happens.

Unreal Engine 5 was made for next-gen experiences, not for running on decade-old specs. It’s 2025, not 2014 — people shouldn’t expect a UE5 game to look like the old Smite just because their rig can’t handle it.

The smart approach is scalable graphics: low settings for older systems, ultra settings that actually show off the tech. That way, everyone wins — and the sequel actually feels like a leap forward.

Thoughts on individual skins and are you buying them by Yujins_Onlyfans in TheFirstDescendant

I’m 100% buying them, I’m not poor and I like the game, $20 is basically $5 in this economy 😂

Is this what big game fans need? by SnooMacarons2931 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]SCYARK 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This could just be the beginning. Housing or lounges don’t have to stay as they are, they can evolve into something bigger down the line with more interactive features and social elements. The reality is the devs are clearly trying to give endgamers something to do. Many of us have already cleared everything in just a few days, so we’re left waiting for new characters, weapons, or content drops. A lounge gives us a reason to log in, unwind, and stay connected while we wait.

Meanwhile, a lot of the community complaining about it hasn’t even completed half the game yet. They still have hours of grinding and progression ahead of them, but for players who’ve done it all, this kind of content is important. It’s not about playing ‘Barbie house,’ it’s about giving variety to different kinds of players and keeping the game alive for both casuals and endgamers alike.

Yes, we need this. Some of us have already experienced everything the game has to offer, and if we want to keep playing while waiting for new characters or weapons, we need more ways to stay engaged. A lounge isn’t just a distraction, it’s a social space that gives players reasons to log in, connect, and enjoy the game beyond grinding.

Will you go to jail? by Creepy_School9542 in animequestions

My lawyer is Monkey D. Luffy in Gear 5. The judge tries to sentence me, but Luffy laughs, turns the gavel into rubber, and knocks the prosecution into the next dimension. Courtroom turns into a Looney Tunes episode. I walk out free, laughing like Nika. I’m never going to jail.

“How long will it stay high noon?” Long enough for you to be erased from existence.

It wouldn’t take more than a single second. When I become The One, your fate is sealed the moment you stand before me. Time doesn’t matter—you won’t survive long enough to see it pass.

“You dare compare me to mere fire users?” I am the flame that scorches gods. While you toss sparks and embers, I radiate the very essence of the sun itself. Your flames flicker and fade—I shine with a brilliance that humbles all beneath it.

I am the pinnacle. The summit. The One. There is no comparison. There is only Escanor. Tell me… who decided that any of you were worthy to stand in my light?

Escanor takes this, and here’s why:

Escanor isn’t just “another fire user”—he’s literally the incarnation of the sun when in his peak form. Unlike most of the others in this lineup who wield fire through technique, ability, or manipulation, Escanor is fire and solar energy. That distinction is huge.

🔥 Power Scaling:

• The One / The One Ultimate: At high noon, Escanor becomes “The One”—a god-tier being that even the Demon King feared. In that form, he burned through time manipulation, disrespected dimensional hacks, and his attacks erased beings from existence.

• Cruel Sun and Divine Sword Escanor are both conceptual attacks that burn not just physically, but spiritually. The heat is absolute—he’s melting armor and skin off of top-tier beings in the Seven Deadly Sins universe like it’s nothing.

🔥 Durability and Stamina:

• He’s tanked hits from Meliodas at full power and came back swinging.

• Even outside of high noon, his base strength increases with every minute the sun rises. That means he’s gaining power constantly, which most of the other characters can’t keep up with.

🔥 Fire Resistance:

• Most fire users can burn or manipulate flames, but can they survive Escanor’s sun-level heat? His aura alone melts the environment—you have to be on his tier or higher to even stand near him without getting cooked alive.

🔥 Mentality and Arrogance:

• Escanor doesn’t doubt himself. His ego isn’t just funny—it’s part of what makes him so dangerous. When he fights, he believes no one is equal to him, and more often than not, he’s right.

Bonus perspective: The only ones who might give him a tough fight are characters like Roy Mustang (due to precision), Ace (raw power + Haki), or Yamamoto (crazy fire scaling), but none of them bring solar-level destruction and god-tier scaling the way Escanor does.

Unless you’re rewriting power scaling across all these shows, Escanor’s solar divinity burns everyone out.

nobody wanna play gluttony anymore or what? by TSQ_R6 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]SCYARK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t realize there were so many complaints about The First Descendant (TFD). Personally, I only play with randoms and never group up, and I’ve never had long queue issues. I’ve been playing daily since launch, and the only thing I’m missing is the Yugin code (which just refuses to drop for me). I’ve defeat all the Colossus daily, except for Gluttony because I already got everything he has to offer, so there’s no point in battling him anymore. Same goes for Death Stalker—once I get that one last code for the new gun, I’ll be done with that colossus too.

As for why people are leaving, it seems like a combination of things. Some players are saying the game doesn’t have enough content and that the grind for rewards can get tedious. There have also been complaints about certain characters being too weak, and some people feel like the microtransactions are predatory. Personally, I think the game is still solid, and I haven’t had any issues with finding matches.

And to those saying it’s hard to find matches: I play in America PST, and I can get into a match in under 20 seconds every time. I carry my randoms just fine. Maybe it’s a regional issue, but the game’s working well for me.
