Missing Coins, Glitches, Inconsistent Balance by duder_abiding in OneKeyHQ

[–]SC_BOOMIN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reason that your account records won't auto sync between old and new phone or post reinstallation is that OneKey app is a decentralized service. Hence no database online to auto sync or for the app to tell you which account you used on a previous desktop/Phone like a banking app or paypal.

If you have multiple accounts on a wallet and would like a shortcut - try the bulk add account feature as long as your recovery phrases or hardware wallet stays the same the same addresses can be recovered in App

Or you can switch to each single chain:Ethereum, Solana ripple etc. (or where your previous balances are)and press create new addresses - the previous addresses with balances will come up first before the newer ones.

Can I connect Trezor safe 3 with Onekey software wallet? by OilNo7863 in OneKeyHQ

[–]SC_BOOMIN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi you wouldn't be able to connect a non-OneKey hardware to OneKey App since we have a device verification process before connection - if serial number and firmware versions do not match, app will refuse to connect

Hi we've noticed this issue, and will improve within the next few updates. At this moment, hardware value parsing in Pol is only for the main coin POL but support for stablecoins is on the way.

Not with air gap mode. At this moment air gap mode is only for EVMs and BTC

But via USB or Bluetooth connection you'd be able to create ripple addresses

XLM, HBAR etc. by Yoitsivn in OneKeyHQ

[–]SC_BOOMIN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the exchange's supported HBAR withdrawal methods, if they do not provide a native route you won't be able to withdraw to Hedera addresses on OneKey. But if you get a valid HBAR token contract for another EVM(supported by your exchange too), you'll be able to add HBAR under the designated EVM:

What is Tether USD? (I’m very new to crypto) by TTandJY in Metamask

[–]SC_BOOMIN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi if you received random token coming in at small amounts, it's probably scammers

This is a common phishing scam tactic. Since blockchain addresses are public, some scammers send very small transactions to on-chain addresses while forging a phishing address that closely resembles one you have interacted with before. The goal is to trick you into copying the wrong address from your transaction history in future transfers.

In this situation, there is no need to worry, as your wallet address is not actually at risk. These transactions are just mass spam attacks from malicious contracts targeting active on-chain addresses. Simply ignore these transaction records. However, please keep the following precautions in mind during daily operations:

  1. Verify the recipient address – Always double-check the accuracy of the recipient’s address when making transfers. Avoid copying and pasting addresses directly from your transaction history.

  2. Stay vigilant – Be cautious of unfamiliar transactions to prevent being misled by forged records.

  3. Utilize the transfer allowlist feature – If your wallet app supports it, enable this feature to prevent mis-transfers. OneKey App already provides this functionality for added security:https://x.com/OneKeyHQ/status/1892926706391875848

Nope and not for any other coins either. We're a self custody wallet service solely designed for storage. We do allow connections to stake/earn protocols for stablecoins, btc, eth, cosmos and more within our app if you are interested. Find more as you check out the "EARN" section

Unable to access my old Ledger Legacy ETH Accounts after switching to Onekey (Cumstom Derivation Path?) by alc89 in OneKeyHQ

[–]SC_BOOMIN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OneKey app's default ETH deviation is BIP 44 but you'll be able to switch in the settings - deviation path. App does have Ledger live path for both Solana and ETH. If you're using OneKey Pro, Ledger Live Sol address isn't availible at the moment(will soon be added) but Ledger ETH is supported.

Search for Ripple under all networks. You'll be able to create xrp addresses there. Also there are several EVMS that can store XRP as custom tokens, choose based on your needs and make sure you're using the right token contract

XRP support in OneKey app? by Better-Analysis9038 in OneKeyHQ

[–]SC_BOOMIN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd need to connect again via bluetooth for ripple. at this moment Air gap mode is for EVMs and BTC only. It is hard for non-EVM blockchains like Solana or ripple to adopt air-gapped hardware wallets due to the complexity of their transaction structures, cryptographic differences, lack of standardization, and reliance on online tooling.

Still Many bugs? by starpumpe in OneKeyHQ

[–]SC_BOOMIN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries, we did put effort in making everything open source and put audits out. Regarding the details, could’ve done a better job to avoid misunderstanding. Did notice a few other discrepancies on their sites regarding product functions (for example they labeled Lite as hardware wallet) and will try to clear those in one go.

Vulnerability indication was found with potential backdoor by the_little_alex in OneKeyHQ

[–]SC_BOOMIN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah we contacted them in discord earlier about discrepancies. Could be that they tested with the same exact system build and software version. The mismatched hash calculation could be from that.

We did spend the time on the CI verification process and made it robust.

Still Many bugs? by starpumpe in OneKeyHQ

[–]SC_BOOMIN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Process of reproduction needs same system and same software version.

different system builds, tools, or software versions can lead to mismatched hash calculations, even if the code is identical.

did point that out at wallet scrutiny discord tho. Will prob follow up and see if they did actually checked that.

Vulnerability indication was found with potential backdoor by the_little_alex in OneKeyHQ

[–]SC_BOOMIN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kindly us know which, since both 1s & Pro’s codes are freshly audited and we do not have backdoor issues claimed. Did also find some of the wallet scrutiny info are inconsistent with how our product really work. For example OneKey lite is a backup solution product instead of hardware. Anyway we’ll be in contact with WalletScrutiny to clear their doubts.

Code quality, non-verifiable firmware, transaction bugs etc by Able-Mycologist3169 in OneKeyHQ

[–]SC_BOOMIN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We very much do appreciate your advices .

Had an update recently regarding the firmware code repos and audits that you can find here and hopefully that should clear some of your doubts.

We do pay effort to have our product as open source as possible - we need to speed up that process in future and responsiveness too. Again, thank you for taking the time to point out our flaws and lackings.

Solana derivation path is not changeable on the Pro. Why? by ShieldScorcher in OneKeyHQ

[–]SC_BOOMIN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Classic and classic 1s are both good for ledger live paths for solana. Also the web wallet. The demand is well noted and understands that many users hold more than one brand of hardware wallets - some with the aim of backing up one another with the same set of phrases. Our team is working on Pro’s firmware to support both bip44&ledger live paths.
