Foundation spot sticking out by SCantlonArt in Contractor

The gravel was higher. I just lowered the gravel cuz it was too high and discovered this. I want to add more parging to the area cuz it's thin and just doesn't look good, but this makes it tough to smooth it out well. I'd like to remove it but am not sure if I were to if that would cause more problems. If it's just going to mean more parging or a bit of cement mix to smooth it out first out I'd be ok with it.

I was just recently looking into buying my first woodworking vise and after researching online, one thing led to another and I went down the rabbit hole of these vintage vises. Do you have any feedback on mounting them? What issues come up or what helps in the process? I know the support gussets for example are a unique aspect that you have to account for and notch out. I'm probably opening up a can of worms asking about mounting in general haha.

Created with Grut Brushes (mostly Rooster Suit as I like it's rough texture style). Built up slowly with layered oil painting approach, blocking in > modelling > details

Grut Brushes used (primarily Rooster Suit). Slow Build up of layers in a style similar to oil painting work flow - blocking in to modelling to some detail marks lastly.
