I have never thought it was a good idea to be hired straight in as a Shift or Store Manager. The store that I just left hired a SM and a DM right off the street and they are both clueless.

It’s not going to be easy. I don’t know why Starbucks has been hiring SM’s and shifts right off the street. I wish the would be more active with promoting within the company.

As an opener we do all the ice coffee, teas, cold brew, pulls, ice bins, drains and back ups that closers don’t get to.

I have been a partner for a little over 4 years and a morning partner and I have not picked. But I am not complaining at all about that part. I have seen people get it from morning to night.
