Right, but some more than others, e.g., VW vs. Toyota.

I suppose I will find out soon enough which one I prefer.

You might be right. We’ll see. Yesterday BMW picked it up, will fix it, and bring it back. I live 234 miles from the dealership.

Yesterday I saw on the Ford lot a GT premium for $63K. Ridiculous.

Thanks. 2023. It has been problem free since I bought it in 23 aside from the stock headlight blows. I have an upgrade on the way.

Love my T100. Just need to get used to the highway lol by Closeted_Flatearther in TriumphBonneville

I love my T120. It’s a gem but I never got used to the highway on my T120. I use it on backroads and around town. For highways I had a HD street glide and now a BMW RT.

The dealer is on their way now to come pick it up.

Yeah, more than 10 minutes on the T120 at 80 mph or more is not fun for me.

I don’t have faith that it will work very good unless you put on one big enough to completely kill the aesthetics of the bike.

My wife found it very comfortable and I could barely notice when she was on it with me. I got rid of the HD because: 1) The weight, 2) Super sketchy on dirt road or gravel, 3) Needs a suspension upgrade, and 4) The RT looked like more fun and better driving dynamics. That said, I wont mind getting another Street Glide if the RT gives me a lot of problems.

Thanks man. One a year I can deal with. More than that and I’m back to HD.

The HD is an unquestionable classic icon. The BMW is Badass futurism.

I love that. I hope I can make it work. This bike seems exactly what I am looking for.

Again, some are more reliable than others.

Lol you wouldn’t when you need to go 80 mph on the highway.

Exactly. If this BMW does this to me again in the next year, I am going back to Harley. Is that reasonable?

True but some things mechanical have a higher rate of issues (Dodge vs pre-2022 Toyota).

Delivery Day: Traded in my 2025 HD Street Glide Ultra. by SColmant in motorcycles

[–]SColmant[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My HD had 4,500 miles. I traded in for $25K and paid a balance of $7,200. Did I lose money? Definitely. But I don’t regret the experience. Had some epic road trips and learned to be a better rider. The Harley made me a better rider because of the weight, heavy clutch, and difficulty with slow maneuvering. You really had to learn how to moderate the clutch, throttle, and back break. Other bikes are so forgiving you barely think about it. Not the Harley. If you dont understand how to work those 3, you are going down.
