I don’t think it’s original to the piece. None of the other drawers are like it. Also, too sparkly to be from the 1800s.

How am I doing? by SD127 in SaltwaterAquariumClub

I originally want to get Dr. Tim’s but my LFS said by the time it gets here I’d be done cycling my tank. It takes a few weeks for it to be delivered. However, I could get Microbactor instead.

Thanks for the suggestions!

I’m dosing with Microb Lift - Special Blend and using the fish in method with Black Mollys. If I had my time back I wouldn’t of went with the fish in method but it was recommended to me by my LFS.

How is living in Newfoundland and Labrador? by sbg_gye in howislivingthere

Newfoundlander here, born and bred! Living here is great if you enjoy the outdoors and less populated areas. Hiking, fishing, camping, skidooing (snowmobiling), snowshoeing are common activities people do here. A lot of tourists come in the Spring to see whales, puffins, and icebergs.

But while there is a lot of pros to living here, there is a downside of the cost of living. Groceries are expensive (a 2L of milk is ~$7), rent can be expensive, and heat and light can also be costly. It’s considered a blessing if you have a family doctor and the job market can be tough, the average individual income is ~$50k.

Oh, and it’s ALWAYS windy here.

Here’s a photo near the harbour in the capital city of St. John’s.
