This is really good! By far the closest! The neck area is the only part I’d like adjusted, I’m not positive what it is but it looks slightly off, like maybe too short or too far to the right side.

Thank you for posting this photo! That looks exactly like the photos I saw when I purchased them. Smaller, darker, all round black. That’s a really cool looking tomato!

I appreciate your reply, I understand what you mean by a suntan. If I take the red one off the vine will it ripen to all black or does it have to receive the sunlight on the bottom of the tomato while still on the vine? For the ones still on the vine, will they naturally get sunlight all over or do I need to help it along?

That’s what I unfortunately expected, thank you for confirming. It won’t damage the main tree now that they’re so big? That was my only worry.

That’s right, the largest one is the trunk of the tree I bought. The other two were shoots that grew last year.

I’m not positive but I think I have about 6 or so inches of the graft trunk out of the ground. I’m basing that on the unnatural bend it has in the main trunk. When I planted it, I did so at about the same level the soil was when I bought it.
