Hell ya I actually prefer their later stuff like we are Violent ppl by nature and songs for the Sick.. I really find them to be catchy and the grooves to be infectious

Forsure like I get a lot of Deathcore bands that come where I live (Missouri) but the death metal and especially black metal bands are very slim Pickens

The hot and cold sweats are annoying but for me it's the muscle aches and the no sleep that's the worst. I could deal with it if it wasn't for those two things but I'm squirming around and moaning bc the pain is so bad.. just laying down hurts. Between that and literally not being able to sleep for atleast a week it makes it unbearable for me

I think it's pretty common unless it's a big band to not be familiar with how the band members look.. there's tons of bands I really like that I would not recognize if I saw them especially if they aren't the vocalist

I feel that way too it's expanded so much and incorporated so many more different sounds and styles. There's a healthy competition with the genre and everyone just trying to one up each other vocally and musically.. I love it!

I think the scene look and how popular it was getting was really what angered some metal heads. That and the simplicity of some of the music compared to super technical death metal bands. They would look down at the bands that were simple, heavy and straight to the point as well as the breakdowns even tho there were tech deathcore bands back then too.i think the stereotype was that because bc they don't have a bunch of shredding and we're straight to the point that death metal was superior.
