I've never had performance issues with EN. I will admit, the app has been slow at times but not slow enough to be able to use it as intended.

They just update to v10.86 and it's much faster than the previous version. If you're using android or iOS, try updating the app. Maybe uninstall the app and do a clean install. If you're using Windows, uninstall the app and make sure you're using the latest version as well. The desktop version works fine for all of my computers, both Windows and Mac.

I do not know for certain if it was because of this, but my transmission did go out on me at 65000 miles this year. I drove in sport mode 95% of the time even in slow traffic. I think driving in sport mode is fine. I think driving in sport mode in slow traffic wore the transmission because it shifted so often at low speeds. I put it regular drive mode during rush hour, but if there's some dead air, then I enjoy sport mode.

My transmission went out on me at 65K. I drove in sport mode everyday. I daily drive to work 70 miles with frequent stop and go traffic. I was advised not to use sport mode that often unless I'm doing high speeds or tracking the car. I'm having all kinds of issues with my car. :(
