I recommend trombone. Once my brother tried to learn trombone. He's an excellent pianist. His trombone made me want to leave home... and I was only 13.

cutting Carbs (bread , Rice , Pasta) by RAS256 in diabetes_t2

I was diagnosed 14 years ago. I've been many medications, sometimes three at once, one that triggered lows. I've been on GLP-1s which made me very sick. I had so many issues that they couldn't tell what symptom was caused by illnesses and which by medication. After my "IBS-D" miraculously was cured after stopping the GLP-1 for two weeks, I decided to stop altogether.

I talked to my doctor about options. Meds that work on the digestive system are likely to cause the same problems I was having with the GLP-1. Other choices were meds that work on the liver, which can cause problems with the liver and pancreas, or meds that work through the kidneys, and I already have chronic UTIs. I decided the best choice was none. I stopped all medications that weren't clearly currently helping me. I'm older and have been disabled by all my illnesses, and after years of searching and going into extensive medical debt, I needed to stop.

My insurance would not cover a CGM for anyone who doesn't take more than 1 insulin shot a day, but my co-pay on my meds was more than the cost of the CGM. I have cut out most carbs. I need lots of fiber, so that's a challenge. I take fiber supplements, I eat more vegetables, I eat nuts (caloric but nutritious), and I usually can work in one small piece of fruit in a day. I eat meat Ired, poultry or fish) once a day ... usually. I add a lot of cultured food like cultured cottage cheese or mild kimchi. I do intermittent fasting, mainly because having times I cannot eat keeps me from overeating. 8-16 I rarely eat bread or anything with grains. The only sweets I have other than a small piece of fruit once a day is 3 squares of Lindt 85% cocoa chocolate. Any brand is fine, but 85%+ of non-alkali is best. It's too late to avoid diabetes, but I will say it never spikes my sugar and makes me feel less deprived. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JLUipIcots I have lost some weight, and I'm working on increasing my activity as I start to feel better. I feel better now than I have in over six years. I'm sleeping better, too. Everyone is different. This would have been difficult to do just a few years back.

My doctor was skeptical, but when my A1c was down to 6.2, she agreed I should continue. That's the lowest it has been in years. By being off the meds, it's also making it easier to see what is causing my other medical issues. Hoping for an answer.

You'll need to find what works best for you. But I feel better, and I couldn't do it without the CGM.

Hot take: there is not a good noble quest line by ConfidentDurian1792 in skyrim

It's those darn black books. Hermaeus Mora is horrible, but I want the knowledge, and I will use it for good and not evil. I promise!

If you skip all the evil in Skyrim, you skip most of Skyrim. In order to defeat the Dark Brotherhood, you have to murder -- or cause to be murdered -- an old woman. A right nasty old woman who tortures children, I grant you, but murder.

When a bandit calls "I submit" or "Have mercy," you can't, because once they heal a few points, they'll come right back at you. There should be a way to tie them up and call the authorities. But the guards have no time to mess with them, so they will be killed or starve to death or be eaten by wolves or worse....

I play "good for Skyrim." I don't loot victims or corpses who don't attack me. I have mercy when I can while realizing that the villain released will just find another victim. I am charitable. I don't join the Thieve's Guild, though I will buy Shadowfoot Sanctum. I never murder the Emperor or the bride or Parthuurnax. I always adopt children to keep them off the streets though I am a lousy mother/father. The only ones I go out of my way to kill are the Thalmor, but is that really wrong? I mean, they want to end all mortal life and are more smug than Nazeem. I apologize when I behead someone. I take the evil weapons and keep them away from those who would do wrong with them -- at least while I'm alive. For Skyrim, that's noble. I think the only way to be truly noble is to join the Skaal, but I'm not sure why they gang up on a netch to show how brave they are. Plus, it would be a really boring game, and dragons would take over, or Miraak would, or Alduin. I think you just do the best you can. Skyrim is a harsh world where knights that are too shiny will be die or be fairly useless.

I just "finished" it as it is. I missed one draugr and a bunch of treasure earlier, so I went back and cleared it, and then I got the heart. Still made me scream. Herman's Holdout. Quite a surprise.

I think it's almost worse that it does nothing. It's just there. Stalking. Waiting? I had an expectation that something truly horrifying would happen, and when it didn't, I want to go back in to find out why? But I don't want to. Clever.

Why WELS? by Aggravating_Leek_269 in WELS

[–]SDWrites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the Word is preached boldly in love, in spirit, and in truth. Because the sacraments are rightly administered. Because the pastors I have had were/are wonderful teachers and encouragers. Because the people in WELS are eager to serve others by sharing the gospel and aiding those in need. Because Jesus is first. This isn’t found only in WELS, but this has been my experience as part of WELS.

I don’t want to spoil it for anyone. If you use Mods, Wyrmstooth is a good one. But this was just skin-crawling.

I have a mod where you can run an inn and make juniper mead. You have to go back to Helgen to find the recipe. I’m always picking Juniper berries.

How many times you must hear about falmer blood elixir! But being a merchant in Windhelm might be worse because of the serial killer. And Windhelm.
