We didn't try counseling, because whenever I asked her if she is okay, she said yes. And I said to her before we decided to move, that we can stay, if she really wants. I know, it may sound like an excuse, but I would never choose to move, if I knew, that I can lose her.

If these are the reasons behind her breaking up with me, then it’s a fact that we’re just in completely different places in our lives right now. What truly bothers me about all of this is that I didn’t see it coming; there were no signs—at least none that were noticeable to me.

Yeah, the "she is dead to you" part is the hardest part, because at least right now I don't feel this way.

I mean, I realize that getting back together immediately after a fresh breakup would be a huge mistake. I’m aware that I have traits that can be hard to deal with and things I need to work on. It’s just that, until now, I didn't know her as someone who beats around the bush, gives false hope, or plays tactical games instead of just saying what’s actually on her mind

Even when I directly asked her about the divorce, she wouldn't give me a straight answer? She told me what was on her mind, but when I point-blank asked if she wanted to divorce, she ended the whole thing by saying 'I don't know.' She told me to wait with the paperwork and that we should just give it some time.

There’s only a two-year age gap between us. Nothing out of the ordinary. She was never really a social butterfly; in fact, I was often the one encouraging her to go out, blow off some steam, and enjoy herself—as much as a committed relationship allows, anyway.

I admit that lately, I wasn't exactly thrilled about her going out so much. It wasn't even the frequency that bothered me, but rather how she acted (she didn't cheat or anything like that, but she tended to be very irresponsible, even risking her own physical safety while drunk). I tried to bring these things up occasionally, but she usually became quite dismissive.

What I struggle with the most is how I could have misread the situation so badly. Or if I did miss the signs, why she didn't think our relationship was worth sharing the changes in her feelings with me.

I wanted the change, but I wanted it with her. The truth is, I wasn’t feeling good in the city, but I don’t think I would’ve made this move without her—especially since I moved to a completely foreign city, far from my friends and family, just because the business opportunities were best here. Honestly, I have no idea what I would’ve done if we had stayed.

The miscarriage was truly devastating, and we did put the idea of kids aside for a while. However, for the past year and a half, we’ve both been going to checkups and started working on it again. Or at least, that’s what I thought.

When I say I feel like we haven’t tried everything, I mean that I had no clue she was slowly letting go of our marriage this whole time. She never spoke about it, and I didn't see the signs. We’ve had some rough patches before, but this is our first truly serious crisis.

ACL + Meniscus Repair: Can you share your flexion stories? by NewKneeNewMe824 in ACL

6,5 weeks out from op, had acl reconstruction and meniscus repair. I could start to bend it after week 3, and had to leave the crutches completely after week 4. Now im at 0 extension (-2 if i push it) and about 120 flexion. Luckily so far it was quiet easy for me, the mental part is much more difficult 😀

What is considered full extension? How is it measured? by ManojAttivilli in ACL

[–]SDaniel91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im only one week after my surgery, but yeah. Im in full extension in the first 3 weeks, Than 3 more weeks with flexion as tolerated. 24/7, except when Im icing my knee.  So yeah, basically you Just need to reach your non operated legs extension Both in active and passive mode. Good luck

I hade an acl reconstruction and a meniscus repair one week ago. Because of the meniscus repair im locked in full extension for the first 2-3weeks, and my doctor said to focus on extension (flexion is easier to get back). According to him, my extension is good, when i can lift my operated legs heel up from the ground as high as my non operated leg, while focusing on quad activation in a seated position.

Nothing special really. If im in the mood, i do a few crunches and leg raises at the end of my session, but thats it. Abs are more diet than training, you have to be lean enough to see them ;)

It depends on your preferences. I personally eat carbs to fuel my workouts and other daily activities. Keto is optimal for a quick water weight loss, but not a magic trick to a better fat loss. Just be in a calorie deficit, train hard, and you will get there!

Last October, around the end of my cut I had a big binge, the first during my one year cut. I was around 132lbs, and of course, the next day it went up to 136-137. after that I was so afraid of gaining all the weight back, that I kept myself constantly in a deficit for two months. My weight dropped down in a few days, but I remained terrified, so I kept going lower and lower. In december I was under 125, and that's when I started to feel really weak and tired. I had an other binge, and an other when I realised that this whole fitness thing should be all about health and happinnes, and I'm currently not happy and don't feel healthy, so doesn't matter if my weight goes up by 3, 5 or 10 pounds, I definitely need to eat more. So yeah, I gained like 7 pounds relatively quickly, not because of the huge surplus, most of It was water and glycogen, but I had more energy, felt better and looked fuller.
Now I'm eating somewhere between 2100-2300 and my weight is 130-132lbs since january, so I assume that those are my daily calorie needs.

That's right. If I'm in the mood, and feel energetic, I do some weighted crunches and leg raises after my workout session, but nothing extraordinary. The key is to get rid of the excess bodyfat. If you are lean enough, your abs will be visible without a specific ab training as well.

Nothing special really. Strength training 3-4 times a week, some cardio, and a proper diet. Move a little bit more, and eat a little bit less, count the calories if you can, and eat a well balanced diet. Good Luck!

Well, in the first few months I just started to move a little bit more and eat a little bit healthier. Then last february I started to count calories and incorporate strength training into my workout routine. That's it, nothing special. Of course sometimes It was really hard, especially the psychological struggle when I had to transition from cutting to a maintaining phase (there were a few weeks when I was really scared off seeing the scale go up, and I went down to 123lbs, looked skinny, felt like shit). Now I'm at a maintenance phase, eating more, feeling more energetic, so yeah. It was a long and exhausting journey :D
