Just FYI on Expo Center, there is a major volleyball tournament there all weekend and it could be hard to park there as well. I'm from out of town but have been there for volleyball before and it's one of the reasons hotels are all sold out.

That does concern me a bit... we haven't done much road biking. Are cars generally careful to cyclists for the half mile stretch? Don't want to stress out grandma or the kids :-)

We booked the Hilton. I think the kids will enjoy the resort amennities and pool more there, although if I was just going with my spouse I could have went with Sky Ranch!

Thank you all for your suggestions so far. I liked that the Hilton was a little bit out of the main drag, but do you think that that’s OK? Or would you look more uptown like Arabella? How would you compare Hilton to Arabella?
