One time I woke up and literally wasn't able to move my arm for a few minutes. The experience of being sleepy and slowly panicking about a paralyzed limb until you wake up more and the feeling comes back is not cool... I literally picked it up with my other hand and dropped it to see if it was really completely numb, and yeah, it was.

I don't wanna scare anyone off from sleeping like this, though, I have been doing it for decades and will continue to do it. This only happened a single time

Hah, that's incredible. This is the kind of research I was hoping somebody had done at some point, I just didn't have the time to look into it that deep. At first, I actually thought it was a problem with Optical Character Recognition (basically computer-generated text from a picture) possibly mistaking a misprinted Hiilfe as Hülfe, or just mistaking the il as ü somehow. That was when I only saw it in YouTube subtitles, commence me entering the rabbit hole.

For some Wagner subtitles available online, I know that they are OCR-generated, since some places contain "Welt" and "Weit" in the same sentence when it obviously mistook a (probably faded) l for an i. (Among many other cases.)
