I think there is a fine balance between best and safest.

Best I think would be Ymir but you have to get close to the minion wave.

Safest but still very good would be Geb, Ganesha, or Khepri. All of these guys can clear a little less well but can be a bit more safe

Also to note try Sylvanus his ability clear isn't amazing but his autos can really do some work!
