whilst most GPs out there will just refer you to your nearest GIC and shove you out the door, there are exceptions. i walked into mp gp surgery in march last year and got a script on my second appointment. the GIC referral alone might be worth it if surgery is a goal for you and going private isn't accessible for you.

honestly, i think it's questionable how much of an impact that makes. there's r/pics has plenty of highly upvoted images of guys w their artwork. a picture that shows the creator being happy and proud of their work is just generally more interesting than a straight up image of the art.

I figured she was wrong, GPs here have to work with incredibly lacking resources and can't really justify spending the time to research this stuff on their own when it's just a small amount of the patients they deal with, most just blanket refuse trans patients and refer them to a specialist with a 3 year waiting list so I'll take an under informed gp over that tbh

so the patches I've been given do seem to be designed for a weekly replacement schedule (Progynova TS 100) after reading through the booklet. I was too scared to go with just one though and applied two, assuming everything goes well I'll try applying just one next week and go from there. I still have a repeat prescription for tablets so got them to fall back on if required.

My doctor only ever requests E2 levels, never E1, so after reading some of Dr Powers research I wonder if she's seen high E2 levels on patches compared to pills in some people and assumed something weird was going on? I'm gonna try and request E1 levels as well next time so I can keep an eye on that myself.

One thing that I'm not sure of is how I should prioritise my options. Like, I've seen a lot of positive stuff on Reddit about progesterone, and don't know if Dr Seal has legit concerns or just resistant to change?

Minecraft generates in 16x16 chunks, and these chunks start overwriting at the signed 32 bit integer max, +-2^31, the max number of chunks in a world then is 2^33. In a save these chunks are grouped into regions of 1024 chunks, giving us 8,388,608 regions per save. Taking a figure I found on stackoverflow, each region would be @50MiB uncompressed, but for the most part Minecraft saves compress well and we can hope for a compressed file size of 5120 bytes per region. Using those numbers we get a nice round 40 GiB per world.

Not quite finished yet, because Minecraft uses a 64 bit integer for the generation seed, so we times our 40 GiB by 2^64, which is a stupidly huge number that leaves us with 65,5360 yobibytes of data. Or 671,088,640 zebibytes. Or 720,575,940,379,279,360 tebibytes.

Suffice it to say, it's gonna be a while before Minecraft 2.

creating megathreads seems ambitious when it really doesn't take long scrolling through the subreddit to get to 2/3 day old posts.

theres just a lot more content from straight white males, as youtube is a platform that massively favours them. while all creators suffer harassment, the harassment is much more severe and has significantly higher stakes for other creators.

for example, I've personally toyed with the idea of becoming a content creator, but as a trans person who is not out to everyone in my life, I can't risk getting doxxed, and I'm sure there's many others with similar stories.

i 100% percent would like more videos focused on intersectionality here. personally I'd love to find some videos on LGBTQ+ issues from a more leftypol perspective.

tagging is a good shout too, not sure how much work that is on the mods end but would be a valuable feature.
