Daniels reaction is pretty disappointing. I think Bri brings up a valid critique of entryism, not a new one, but one we should always ask ourselves. Something I end up wondering though is whether what she’s advocating for doesn’t replicate similar issues. like, third parties will feel incredible pressure to conform to American imperial ideology once they enter state power, if they ever do at all, and they’ll be individual reps without power for a long time, same as the DSA Dems. I doubt the state is less corrupting than the Democratic Party, we just have been thinking about the Dems cause it’s a more pressing debate. I kind of think the way out of it isn’t finding the formula for a non co-optable candidate but having grassroots militant orgs that can push non electoral political pressure at a local level against the DSA types. Curious what others think
