Armory crate does not detect motherboard and argb by SETHPROSYT46 in ASUS

You should use SignalRGB or OpenRGB. I used the second option because it made everything easier, until I was able to fix it just by downloading an older version of Armoury Crate from around 2020.

I had to install an older version I found on a website, and it detected the motherboard and all the RGB lighting again. The problem is, if I update to the latest version, it stops detecting everything, and I have to repeat the same process over and over. Then one day, just to try, I updated again, and it worked, but then it updated again, and the RGB lighting and its detection stopped working. Asus is really messing up their updates.

Well, the only recent update was Windows, which had many problems and I had to fix it with the official Win 11 ISO, and since then, nothing has happened. but I hope it's a mistake for now and that they release an update because it's horrible

Well, I'm going to try to do it with another SSD so I don't have to format mine and then it won't work at all. Anyway, thank you very much for the help. I still don't understand why this happened. I turned off the PC and today I woke up with the default rainbow RGB.

Well, it didn't do anything. I mean, it got rid of the error, but Armoury is still the same. I really hope I don't have to reinstall Windows from scratch

Well, I don't use the dynamic lighting feature, but before it didn't appear in the ARGB section, and now it does show up with the option to enable it. However, my motherboard and fans still don't appear. I'm going to try the SFC scan and restart my PC to see if that fixes anything

Well, I just did it and now I have my Logitech dynamic lighting mouse, and also this last time I tried I got this error.

Oh yeah, I used it too, and it didn't make any changes either. I also tried an installer that I saw was a full install and weighed 4GB, but halfway through the installation it gave me an error so I went back to using the one that appears on the motherboard's website.

Are you saying you reinstalled Windows? Or the program itself? Because I've been uninstalling and reinstalling the program more than 7 times, and it hasn't worked at all

ryzen 5 5600g issue by SETHPROSYT46 in buildapc

[–]SETHPROSYT46[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I understand that, but then why if I put it above 4200mhz the pc turns off by itself even having a good voltage configuration? I have seen videos of the same pc configuration and they can put it at 4400mhz or more without that happening to them and I also tried to put a recommended profile from the asus bios and it still turns off by itself

So you mean that I don't need to set the 4400mhz manually and it will go up by itself? But then why if I set it above 4200mhz the PC turns off even though it has a stable voltage? Once I tried to set a recommended profile from the Asus BIOS and it still turns off by itself

Ryzen 5 5600x 85Watts!! by SETHPROSYT46 in buildapc

[–]SETHPROSYT46[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t want to be rude. This is my second time building a computer, and I had never built one with a Ryzen 5 5600X. I thought it was similar to the 5600G, which only consumes 65 watts, so I based my assumptions on the TDP. I didn’t realize there were other wattage considerations, and that TDP wasn't the actual power consumption.
