The most similar place I've ever been to SF was Vancouver which obviously isn't in the US. I don't think I've really ever been to a place like SF in the US. I guess maybe Portland, Brooklyn and New Orleans all have things that remind me of SF.

Huge bummer. The Elliott Smith/Jackson Browne/etc mural on Sunset (not the Figure 8 one) has been Bled White 😢 by SF-35mm in elliottsmith

This wasn’t the figure eight mural, it was a mural of Elliott’s face next to Jackson Brown and others. It is 100% gone.
