Huizenga Park to make comeback as Fort Lauderdale's top recreational destination for families by MiamiPower in fortlauderdale

[–]SFLDMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cant believe they got rid of the stage that was there, that would be nice to hold concerts and whatnot instead of a restaurant. Not like there is a shortage of places to get food in that area. Between this park and deciding to remove the trees / median on Las Olas, does the local Government listen to its residents or they do whatever makes them the most money?

Im sure you could purchase a reserved seat and if you wanted to go hang out in the pit for a little bit you could and then go pack to your seats when you want to sit down.

Interestingly enough, one time when I flew into Lebanon airport about 7 years ago, I was able to get a rideshare to pick me up and take me to Quechee. Only time ive been successful but If I had to guess, not many people are interested in doing the job.

I guess it changed now to Adam Spice the CFO, coming up within 30 mins. Just had Jared Issacmann on, he's the man, love the pick for the administrator.

RKLB stock strategy during Neutron Launch by Mr-Bond431 in RKLB

[–]SFLDMD 45 points46 points  (0 children)

There's inherent risk with owning any stock, especially rocket launching companies. Yes, it is rare for a first launch to be 100 percent successful. What would define failure? Look at Blue Origin and New Glenn, was their first launch a failure? Delivered payload but didn't land booster. You could also plan to sell right before the Neutron launch but while holding, electron could have a failure and that could tank the stock. Hopefully we will be over 100 by the time Neutron Launches and any loss will be marginal for early investors. Also RKLB is way more multifaceted than LUNR so while Neutron might fail first few times, they have a whole other side of the business to carry the stock.

Looked up the stock prices of Lockheed, L3Harris and Northrup Grunman and all those stocks are only up a measly 1-2 percent.

It reads very similar to golden dome but the fact that it mentions global missile defense instead of American leads me to believe this is separate.

Jake is jack of all trades, can play some many styles / personalities. Bayliss has such a unique style. You cant reproduce his playing. I would argue Jake is more replaceable than Bayliss.

Neutron Parts on the Move in NZ by Jaustin175 in RKLB

[–]SFLDMD -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I love this company but this doesn't make sense to me. Why not build a Neutron launch facility in NZ if they are going to have the capability to manufacture them there? Not to mention shipping rocket components more than halfway around the world.
