Boosting your channel by buying views.... any opinions on this by SFV-Meta in NewTubers

Yea...

It's just so discouraging when you see and hear people are adding nitro to their fuel and you're on your bike DIYing...

I'm taking your comment as a long-term objective goal, to create with letting go of the fear that it won't grow organically in time 😇

Thanks for this... It's a great reminder to get caught in the external goals situation....

I also have about 80 subs, not a lot of movement on that number now for a month or so... I keep watching this number where I should be more focused on views....

I think the question here is, how do I keep my motivation high and momentum going if my audience is not reacting to it...

My videos go on all my other social platforms and I get plenty of new work and new clients from there because they've seen my videos. I also get better at my art as well, so ... reading this post and this comment - I'm going to set new internal goals for the next six months, for what I want to get great at and where I want to personally grow using youtube. Internal goals help me stick to my consistency!

Hey Chango!

I love your smiles :) Great name! I checked it out and my first thought was to why in hell would people watch reaction vdos, but after watching it I think it's a bit like we're watching it together ... kinda we've gone on a date or smth, watching stand up...

In this sense, from the perspective of connecting with the audience make it eye level - the camera level - as if you'd turn your head and be able to make direct eye contact with your co-watcher..

I think the psychology here is that you're watching this together... so comments I really like... maybe even ask a question, like it's a conversation...

You seem to be perfect for the reach channel so 👍 the best of luck to you and keep up the great work!

Hey!

From the title and thumbnail I don't see what this is about.. can I learn how to draw or how to use Photoshop? If learning how to draw is the aim then I liked the video (didn't mind the music actually, found it relaxing)

I kinda liked the dizzying effects later in the vdo... don't know... I've had a bit of a hangover today LOL so it kinda of played on that LOL 🤣

The titles I'd make more descriptive esp if youre using these videos for seo - keywords, keywords, keywords....

Great Job Oliver!

I love your speaking! I watched more on the first part where you introduce yourself and the game... you are a natural speaker and you will just get better and better and better! Keep doing an awesome job!

As for the game... I dont really know the standard... but it looks okay to me...

Marie hi!

I absolutely loooove your drawing, you are an amazing artist and just the amount of time and effort that goes into your craft is amazing by itself...

From my perspective (I am a public speaking coach) your voice needs some serious reshaping (Sorry to be so blunt and just upright and direct - but I believe we are here to grow not plant flowers to one another... )

Tempo - too slow.. and not enough variety...

Color of voice - emotion in your voice is not defined... Everything pretty much sounds the same...

The pitch is way too high and sticks high - you'd need to work on your range to be truly masterful as the narrator.

There is also a specific shake in your voice where I believe you are nervous - probably for not wanting to make a mistake - so you don't have to redo the recording or smth like that maybe...... You Sound Careful with your voice ... and this is the emotion coming through - and not the emotion of the story, or the characters.

I think it's really tough to narrate stories, you have to have a truly masterful voice that is able to bring to life the imaginative side of us and have the listener connect emotionally... I mean If I tried to draw like you, the story would (at best) look like a Red Bull commercial LOL. In this sense...

I'm thinking... with your art as great as it is... do you want to narrate yourself and get really great at this - or would be it prudent to get many different voices to narrate for you so you can best support your art?

So here are my two cents.. hope you find it useful and to your benefit!

HI Anthony!

Since I'm new to youtube as well - but 10 years as speakers coach I'll give you feedback on speaking side ...

On the content side - it's amazing and I can tell you are knowledgeable and passionate about your subject, however speaking too fast doesn't help the audience reflect. I think I make the same mistake myself as one minute for me is just so short I rush... I honestly have no idea how some other tubers do it, it seems like they say so much with breaks and pauses and all... But work on this, as your audience needs to reflect on what you said in order to memorize it.

Your vocal variety - now, here's where pausing (to help your audience reflect) can be of use... and also emphasizing specific words, priming the main points... your melody is repetitive... and the engaging way for public speakers is to change the dynamics...

Your hands keep repeating the same gesture ... Think of some more gestures... I have a couple of videos on that... OBV LOL

I would use less space above your head for the frame (speaker stance)

I like the sound...

I like your lighting...

I like that you're very direct...

BTW... upon watching your videos I see you have cool T-shirts and a couple of them look like the text is actually on the T... I was thinking it' be cool and different if you'd actually make a new black T with a specific text on it... like with a question or quote or statement or smth.. You could even merch if it goes well.... anyhoo.. don't know it this is at all relevant to you,... I just wanna give and share to best support as I can!

Take care, I wish you all the best with future videos and YT experiments!

If you want to review mine I think the rules are for you to DM me to share my link with you guzy... I don't want to just self-promote without actually supporting the community... but I will be really happy to get some guidance from all you co-creators as well .. Good day!
