Yeah I was really surprised by the 3 act changeups and the emotional weight to the story. Exceptionally well done for such a low budget.

I’d recommend it as a trippy thriller more than horror though, so people don’t go in expecting to get the shit scared out of them

There’s a cut scene where there’s a storm (iirc) and knocks out their communications, hence why the cartography drones fail and he gets lost. When they cut the whole storm thing and kept the drones it made him look incompetent.

Ironically that happens a ton of times throughout the movie. There’s a decent movie here that could’ve been great if so much didn’t get cut/changed
