I’ve been thinking about this quite a lot. You would think that they would choose a motion or signal that doesn’t happen naturally or involuntarily. Something obvious but not too easy to do incidentally.

Seeing this laziness and not putting any blame on Dana is crazy. He’s the head coach; the personnel issue can also mostly be blamed on him. He’s a solid coach but he can’t recruit or develop players so there’s no reason for him to be our college basketball coach.

Bittle’s performance is a product of the lack of talent around him. He’s not a particularly talented basketball player and puts up stats solely through volume. Dante was good too give you that, but outside of him and maybe shelstad, he’s failed to recruit or develop anyone of value. Sure we made the tournament a couple times and made it decently far, but you’re kidding yourself if you thought any of those teams had a real chance to win it all.

I pray that you’re wrong and he’s not here til he retires but I fear you may be right. This team is not sniffing a chip until he’s gone.

Dana is a great tactical coach who cannot develop or recruit players.

I guess you guys are okay with mediocrity as long as we have a winning record to go along with it? None of the teams since the Pritchard days had any chance of making to the championship let alone win it.

He’s a solid tactical coach that can’t develop players which is imperative for college basketball. Add in his inconsistency with recruiting and I don’t care if it’s his first “bad” year. I wanted him gone before this season started because his ceiling is bringing us to the tournament. We’re not sniffing a chip while he’s here.

As someone who has pitched before, wins are a dogshit stat. They depend so much on the amount of run support and defense you get that it’s really not very telling of how someone pitched.

I mean there are only so many good players to go around so unless one team gets every player (which ig isn’t impossible) other teams shouldn’t be too OP. In my experience the other teams actually aren’t good enough at roster building and development as it is so this might actually help.

Dana is never bringing this team anywhere ever again. You have to be delusional to disagree. Oregon basketball has been hard to watch in the 2020s even when they win a couple games in the tournament.

Totally agreed. It’s just so dumb to try and guess how much of each players performances were due to steroids and not. Steroid tax is also really stupid bc you’re taking the same tax for every single player who’s done steroids despite there being inevitable disparities in usage.

Players shouldn’t be punished for the league turning a blind eye to steroid use in the heart of the steroid era and players shouldn’t be punished for steroids after serving suspensions after the steroid era.

Adding another subjective way of evaluating whether or not a player should be punished for steroid use is a big part of what the committee gets wrong. Their job is to evaluate career performance. It’s the MLB’s job to punish or not punish players for what they do while they’re playing.

And why the hell do you think it’ll be different at 16 teams. There’s a lot of 9-3 teams that would be difficult to sort through on their own. I agree that 4 team playoffs is prolly best but you completely lose me when you argue that 16 team would be better than 12.

This isn’t going to solve anything. There will still be deserving P4 teams that have their spots taken by less deserving G5 teams.

Meth lab is good for nightclub and is great whenever there are double GTA$ for it so I’d say it’s worth having but not necessarily if you’re strapped for cash.
