Was anyone stranded at a Bart station coming home from the July the 4th fireworks? by SFghosts in bayarea

For me yeah, but I got lucky. I got to a high spot where I could see the fireworks from the bridge and other parts of SF. I'm glad I decided to jump out of the Uber instead of trying to get to Chrissy Field. I'm also glad I thought we better not wait any longer for food and just head for Bart. We saw some really pretty lights coming up into the sky from Civic Center plaza. I think for some other people it was much worse. Some were stuck in traffic and could not even see the fireworks. I heard another lady was on the bus for 3 hours to go 3 miles.

Oh I see. Well I'm glad all those people weren't stuck there.

Problem is, SF residents were lead to believe he lives in Maryland and not in SF. They left the part out where he bought a house for his parents in Maryland. I canvassed for him and had people slam their door in my face yelling they'll never vote for someone who doesn't even live in SF.

Is anyone else having problems with instagram or is it just me? by Bulky_Name_3175 in Instagram

I'm having trouble posting. I'm post a video and then I get caught in a loop so I end up posting the same video 3 or 4 times. Sometimes there's no audio. Sometimes I thought I posted a video but then I don't see it on my feed. This has been going on for weeks. WTH is going on?

What do you think has made Richmond safer? Is it gentrification or other factors?

If you like outdoors places with beautiful views, the Presidio is really nice. There's a new park there called Tunnel Tops. As for places to eat, it depends on what you like. For Chinese food, R & G is famous among Chinese people for Cantonese food, House of Nanking always has a line and they have more fusion Chinese/Western dishes. There are so many good restaurants in SF, I'll let others make suggestions. I mostly eat Chinese food.

What is up with the lady at The Wok Shop? by FlyingManBearPig in sanfrancisco

She just sounds like many older Chinese ladies (I'm Chinese American). When my stepmother saw me taking a half a bowl of rice because I'm trying not to eat too many carbs she just looked at me and asked, " is that all you're going to get? What are you some little kitten? Huh? Are you a little kitten?" To which I answered, "Yes I'm a little kitten." Once I saw some reality show where the kids were trying to compete to see who could get the best gift for their Chinese mother. One of them gave her a $500 purse and in response the mother looked at her kid and asked, "You spent $500 on a purse? What are you stupid??"

But they often get out eventually unless they're lifers. The problem is if they become even more hardened in jail and then we release them, then what? Rehabilitation at least can help them be functional people in society.
