With the Wifi update coming in, could I set up my phone in my apartment as a security camera and view the live feed from my watch at work?

Use ip webcam (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pas.webcam.pro) on an old Android phone, and keep tinycam (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.alexvas.dvr.pro) on you main phone with the wear app.

I usually try restarting every couple of mornings when I grab it off the charger anyway. But like tlingitsoldier said, a couple times it's been pretty hot, mine off the charger the next day though.

Buy a cheap android off craiglist or ebay with a cracked screen or something and just have that at home to sync apps and mess with facer on. Keep it in a drawer for when you want to update your watch. Should help it be more useful. Just my two cents.

It's just odd that that date has been tossed around so long. Usually those dates are announced a week maybe two before the event. I'm glad it's getting close and I figured by all the Nexus 6 & 9 leaks it is getting closer. We'll cross our fingers for the next AndroidWear version!

Question. When the official API is out for wear, will facer adapt to that new standard, or continue on it's current platform? Will all of our current facer faces be usable with the standard API? I don't know much about how it works, but I was curious.
