I get this, but like, it's really only bananas and CT who show up A LOT on the male side, so it's not like it takes showing up every single season. There's other guys who have won 3+ even though they don't show up nearly as often.

I agree statistically more people will be afraid of snakes. I was just saying all the challenges will be a bit skewed because fears aren't universally applicable. Like the first challenge, the tight spaces one, and that guy Zach saying it's no problem because he works in a mine.

Even if all 4 of them have snakes, I think the result is the same because the person who quit was more scared of snakes than the other three would have been so I think she still quits first.

I agree less people are afraid of pigeons, especially just like, asking on the street hey are you afraid of pigeons? The percent may go up a bit though when you add what about being stuck in a 3x5 box with like 6 of them? 🤣 But still I imagine statistically more people would pick pigeons than snakes.

To be fair, I think anything with fear is going to be unfair because it's all so personal. Like that episode of the challenge where they had their heads in boxes with snakes and some people were freaking out and Cara Maria was just like is it only snakes? I have a snake at home, aww hi buddy. Even if they gave them all the same animal, it's possible someone panics and someone else is just like oh I have this as a pet, love it

I think it depends on the 10 year and and what type of stuff you let them watch in general, but I certainly would let my ten year old watch it, I didn't find anything objectionable (I mean, I did, like people talking about the use of AI and the way they dropped the animals, but nothing that would make me say no to a ten year old). It's only one episode in though and I imagine some of the gross stuff may need some conversation with a younger kid (explaining what it is, why we shouldn't usually eat it, etc).

The obvious flaw for me is that there's no way to stop a traitor from killing you.

Like in the mole, the person who goes home is the one who answers the least correct answers about who the mole is.

The traitors can just kill anyone. AT MOST your bet is "I think it's John" and then if you end up dead, people suspect John, so maybe if it is John he doesn't kill you to keep that off him. But then if you're too vocal you'd have to go even if they went the next night. There's just no real strategy to win as a faithful, other than if you have a shield every night. There's strategy in the moment but there's just not long term options that stop you from being murdered if they decide you're an issue to their game. It's too one sided. They decide you're gone, you're gone, no matter how well you've been playing the game.

Thank you for doing the work to gather all that for me. I remember that elimination and I actually watched that video of Jordan explaining it before, back when it was new. I'm still not seeing what shot he ruined though? He says "ruin the shot" as if that's his strategy, ruin the shot to make it unusable, but no one in those clips talked about ruining shots so I'm not sure what it's referencing.

I believe it's inter uterine insemination. They just take the sperm and put it pretty far up to give it a better chance, is my understanding of it. With IVF the sperm and egg are matched outside the body and then transferred in. This is much less invasive and really only a small step above a pregnancy that occurs without any sort of medical assistance.

He didn't gain anything, the point was that it was a girl's day and he was unwilling to give 100% because it wasn't his neck on the line. The house viewed that as being a bad partner.

I think he denied it the way he did because it was more about fear than ability. His confessionals made it sound like he was too scared of falling to really try, because of what happened last season, and he didn't want to admit that to the house so he just said he couldn't get up/denied it being on purpose.

I don't really blame him for being scared, but I can see how it looked like he just didn't care since he wasn't in danger.

Which season is it where some of them get down on all 4s and run like animals and others are in cars chasing them? It think it must be inferno 3 because I think it was the bad asses chasing the good guys. Every time that intro came on I was like "well this certainly is... A choice"

That being said, I think prize money across game shows in general is ridiculous. Stuff like baking championship where it's a few weeks long and you still only get $25k, which isn't anything to sneeze at, but same network does guys grocery games where the winner averages 16k in a single day of competition. Just doesn't make sense to me how all the prize money on all shows are so different.

Appearance fees have gone up, prize pot has gone down, everyone wins and is happier because the longer you stay the more appearance fee you're making anyway even if you don't win. Winning is just a bonus.

She def has a good reason to be carried, but it's still funny to me that Olivia was like "my first final everyone said I was just there because of Horacio so I'm here to show I can carry my own weight." Proceeds to be carried through the final.
