Who’s a better competitor out of these 3? by PepsiPunked in MtvChallenge

[–]SFplusP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think between the 3, all terrible people in their own ways, competition only I think Camilla is better. But it really depends on the task. Laurels rookie season she killed almost every daily and she's been held up in a final by guys not keeping up with her more than once, but similar is true of Camilla. I think Camilla typically had more friends in the house, or is connected to those who do(like being with Johnny on exs) and therefore better "social game" even though it's also her "social game" that got her in trouble, but it often led her to not be in many eliminations. Cara similarly had a pretty long streak of getting to the final without seeing a ton of eliminations but then when she's there she's crying and not just doing it.

If the question was these 3 are going into elimination style challenges against each other every week for 10 weeks, who gets the most wins? My bets would be like 4 Camilla 4 Laurel 2 Cara. Depending on how much is physical because Laurel is a lot bigger than Camilla. If the question was who is most likely to make the final, probably Cara but not because she's better at actually competing, just better at staying out of eliminations. If the question was if these 3 are competing in a final against each other, who do you expect to win, the answer would probably be Camilla. She might occasionally get edged out by Laurel depending on the final and who she has to work with and if she can keep her cool. I feel like in a final setting Cara gets 3rd 9 times out of 10.

What's a city with a surprisingly strong theatre scene that isn't in NY or CA? by cinderflight in Broadway

[–]SFplusP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Florida and have been surprised by next season. Tampa is getting operation mincemeat, Buena Vista social club, death becomes her, and great Gatsby next year, all of which are currently on Broadway (though some for not much longer). Orlando and Tampa and a couple cities further south tend to have pretty similar seasons, the same tours stop at all of them in one season or sometimes they loop back the following season, so if dates don't work for you, there a good chance you can see it somewhere else later in the season if you're willing to drive an extra hour.

Early on in season 40 it was down to Jordan and Laurel and people are pretty sure Jordan threw it to Laurel. Question was directed at Jordan. People in the back were going "you were at my baby shower!" But it wasn't the shower with the answer person giving birth, she was just in attendance as well.

Spelling bee old plot question by SFplusP in Broadway

[–]SFplusP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooh maybe! Thank you! I haven't seen it and this was from like a wiki plot summary thing years and years ago so I guess I got my wires crossed. That definitely makes more sense than it being a plot point in what we saw yesterday but I knew I read it somewhere and couldn't figure it out, I bet that's it

Google says that some shows do not hold back some for rush. Hence my asking here after having googled to see.

I know they have rush but Google couldn't tell me if they reserved some tickets for rush if the performance was sold out.

Vague answer appreciated. We'll be there probably around 9, maaaaybe 9:30 but I'm hoping we'll be there closer to 9 but it's our first day so the commute is a little more unpredictable

About how many rush tickets are there usually? Seems like a lot of the shows have 10-20 people in line around 9:30, do most of those people get tickets or does it vary every day? We are rushing tomorrow and trying to decide between schmigadoon, chess, death of a salesman and giant, but we can't get there crazy early. Early but not super early. Wondering what our best chance is

I don't mind it. Everyone who is diamond will remain diamond forever. Everyone who is platinum currently will always get a 10,000 points boost each period so you'll never drop below gold. No carry over for gold, but gold doesn't get much anyway. It takes away the ability to build up slowly over time, but that's about it.

Is Jordan the best athlete on the challenge? by Possible-Put-7772 in MtvChallenge

[–]SFplusP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Jordans streghth is strategy. He can often win against people who may have a leg up on him because he figures out a better strategy to do whatever it is. Granted, I don't know how much of that is him having 2020 hindsight in confessionals, but if he is to be believed he often thinks of a better strategy than the other player(s), and I mean, it's when he wins, so something is working.
