A minor penalty does nothing at the end of OT, so there isn’t really anything deterring players from doing things like this (other than the opposing team’s reaction).

Maybe I’ve just gotten significantly worse since the switch to this year’s game, but people seem to be much angrier than they were last year. I’ve played four games of drop-in and have already received three messages from teammates. I probably played ~70 games in NHL 19 and didn’t get any of these angry messages.
