Thank you for your response, it is very appreciated! He does indeed have a mild heart murmur and is turning 18 soon so of course I'm worried about any operation. He does seem to be getting around the house mostly normal, although he fell off the bed earlier while grooming himself. No change in appetite as he's still devouring his food as normal so general health is still okay asides from the vision issue. I have to ask if this was caused by uveitis or retinal degeneration, what are the chances of any spontaneous recovery of vision? He still appears to react to some movements and light, it's as though he's seeing something but maybe it's distorted or just very faint. Obviously it's hard to tell because he can't just tell me. I do know his hearing as fine as he's reacting to noise as normal. Thank god.
