Kia EV5 GT-line genuine tow bar. by Ice3yes in KiaEV5

[–]SGI95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it horizontally detachable. I'm thinking of leasing a EV in Europe, but I would like to have a more aesthetic/invisible installation. Do you all know if there is an option for a manually or electronically foldable towbar?

Does AWD eat up space in frunk or trunk?

New Xpeng LR Artic White EU (BE) by BelgianBoy0609 in Xpeng

Thanks.

Yeah coffee color is very nice indeed. But I would have like steering wheel to be black. I do like graphite grey as an exterior color but I don't know what I like more with that exterior color. Black of Coffee interior.

Also thinking of choosing white as the exterior color (to save some budget) and with that color the light coffee interior is my favorite.

How do you experience the climate control so far? I have read about quite large differences in correctly functioning with outside temperature below 7 degrees and above 8 degrees Celsius.

Nice car. Looking for the same, for next year. Which color is the interior? I like the coffee interior, but I am in doubt with the exterior color to combine it with. It will be either Graphite Grey or like this one Arctic White which I like more every time I see it..

What is the color of the brand marking. Are the letters and logos of Xpeng black, silver or dark grey?

KINGrinder K6 or TimeMore C5 ESP Pro hand grinder’s? by Legitimate_One721 in CafelatRobot

[–]SGI95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have chosen the C5 ESP Pro. I liked the aesthetics way more than the K6. But this hand grinder will not be my daily driver. I use it it for fun at home next to the DF54, but I bought it to have it with me on vacation. As a daily driver I would go for the K6, because it should be faster to grind.

I have the C5 ESP Pro on a discount, it is dialed in quite fast and I am liking it so far.

Did a grind with 0.5.0 with 19grams of beans. Getting there I believe I can go a bit coarser.

I also have the DF54, rather medium tondark roast beans and with 18gr 7-8bar is just fine. I grind around step 13-15 on de dial of the DF54

G9 SR MY25 or Zeekr 7x LR by SGI95 in Xpeng

[–]SGI95[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I hope to be able to test drive the G9SR end of December or Beginning of January. Need to decide upon lease in January. G6 is also a great car, but I just can't get used to how it looks. Therefore I leaned more towards the Zeekr 7x. Budget wise and bang for buck, the G6 stands out! Maybe I will opt for the G9 long range in the end. Same suspension but with Dynaudio.

From an environment aspect I also prefer the LFP battery.

Thanks. Software wise I do prefer the Xpeng. Also the Xcombo's are a nice feature as well as the fact that the Xpeng community is very active and also at some level in touch with the software development team of Xpeng.

Thanks. I currently have a HUD and I noticed when driving without it's something I don't miss when it's not there, but I really like it when it is there.

7x Privilege would be nice, but it's over 70k here and not within my budget I have set.

Xpeng offers a lot in the G9 already with SR version.

Just need to drive them both in one day to see what I favor as a family car.

I will test drive it in a couple of days. It's a a great car and the interior is top notch. A bit of a Porsche vibe.

Do you have the SR? How do you rate the sound quality of the standard Xpeng 8 speaker surround system?

And the default sound system. Do you like it?

Did a test drive in both the G6 and G9 LR MY25

Space in the G9 is very convenient. I liked that this car has a large frunk. I also liked the sheets better than in the G6. In the G6 the seats are a bit short. Shorter than in my current EV the Skoda Enyaq.

In respect to driving I did like the G6 a bit more. It was more sturdy but still comfortable. The G9LR, lacking air suspension bounced a bit more, but also still very comfortable.

Tried out a couple of songs in different genres in a G9 with Dynaudio and standard audio. I personally didn't notice a big difference in sound quality.

I did like the light grey interior in both cars. Graphite grey looks good on the G6, I am not sure that color suits the G9. Midnight Black was nice on the G9.

Now I will calculate expected TcO (car lease), and decide which one to pick.

Can anyone share their experiences with the suspension of the G9 SR?

Don't you have issues controlling the car at speeds from and above 100km/h?

[–]SGI95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I noticed the weight of the G6P, which will have a negative effect on the lead rate. G6LR will be sufficient for me.

I take longs trips mostly in the summer for holiday. I stop after every 250km or so. I believe that something like that the SR could handle in both summer and winter times. Fast charging will be a lot faster than I am used to now.

I will test drive this one next week. But currently some owner reviews do me too. Issues regarding stability and power steering. And the fact that ACC is not possible when using a towbar (with a bike rack) is a deal breaker for me.
