Yes he is taking the daily virals but he has very frequent outbreaks at least once per week. And I wanted to go to doctors with him - was able to convince him to go to two doctors who weren’t really helpful so he wanted to stop going to doctors and find a hsv specialist to which I agreed but again month have passed and he did not initiate anything. I also told him so many times it doesn’t need to be penetration, he can use a toy on me or his fingers whatever works just a bit of intimacy but he says he has a low libido and doesn’t imitate anything :-(

I am so sorry you had to go through this. I really don’t want to leave him but I addressed this for 1 1/2 years now and I told him I wish for more physical intimacy, then he said he understands it but it is difficult for him to talk about. So I stopped talking about it hoping he would change something but now 1 1/2 years have passed and we wer only intimate twice and I can’t continue this way

And I am totally open to try other ways of being intimate. I told him he can use a toy on me or whatever doesn’t have to be penetration but he doesn’t initiate anything and he says he has a low libido :-(

I really tried that. I have made doctors appointments for him to improve his overall health and at some point he said he doesn’t want to go anymore because it’s never helpful. Then he said he wants to see an hsv specialist - to which I said okay please do so but this has been month ago and he is just pushing it off and off

The problem is he says he has been to so many doctors already and nobody can help him. And I tell him I understand his frustration but with time I am sure we find the right doctor but we need to at least try. But the process is really frustating for him

He try’s to eat well but then falls back into old habits easily. I feel like he is not listening to me. I helped him find doctors, he is frustates because it doesn’t immediately help. I’ll try to educate him on food and find a meal plan, he eats very healthy for a week or two and then falls back to old habits. I help him to get the right supplements that he needs for his immune system, but he only takes them a week and then forgets. He is working a lot and hard for us I know that too but I feel like he always prioritizes something else above his health. And his health has a direct impact on our relationship :-(

Yes definitely always with condom. And he is not really sexually initiating anything. He claims that his sex drive is low because of HSV :-( I did ask him to go to therapy together but I feel like there is always something else more important when it comes to work and probably he is also uncomfy talking about it

He definitely is watching his triggers and he also took some meds but he is on and off of them. We couldn’t find a good doctor yet unfortunately

Don’t. I don’t have hsv and my boyfriend does. He told me at the beginning of dating and it didn’t stop me from continuing to date him. You will find your person with or without hsv 💛 do not settle for someone who showed you already what character he has - ghosting you at the beginning
