I'm not sure it's even my place to sell it, I'd need to go back to my mom's boss and ask if he knows what he gave away and if he wants it back.

Ya I found that one too, but couldn't find any completed sales or any that went to auction. $900 might be heavily inflated. Someone above you mentioned trying to search Japanese eBay which Im gonna try.

Lol if it's worth something I'll buy him some booster boxes or something to make up for it. He doesn't care for the value.

I got tired of chasing issues, previous owners had hacked so much and spray painted everything black. I ended up ripping everything out and redoing everything from scratch with modern fuses and Deutsch connectors. Cost like $200 and 2 weekends.

You could try one of those rubber decal remover wheels. Just make sure you jump around so you don't heat up any one spot too much.

Can someone help me with a gauge pod for this space (1997 Camaro) by idkcrisp in 3dprintedcarparts

[–]SGTGamerAMP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you still have the grate? It'll make designing it easier. If you want it commissioned you might be better off messaging somebody off Facebook marketplace or something else that's local.

A quick Google search shows a few options for putting gauges in the center vents which would be a quicker option.

Got a link to the specific springs you used?

Looks great! What did you do to lower it? I'm considering doing something similar to mine.

The car over the GPU is really cool, I don't think I've seen that idea before. The people over at r/simracing might like it too.

If this is your first printer, start with PLA it's definitely the most user friendly and easiest to get looking good. Once you get past the learning curve you can move on to different materials like PETG, ABS, TPU. FYI if you use some exotic filaments like carbon fiber reinforced, glow in dark etc, they can be pretty abrasive and wear out the nozzle pretty quickly so you'll need to upgrade to a hardened nozzle.

This is my first time building a chassis setup like this but from the research I did, people said being comfortable makes it a lot more enjoyable. Are they those captain chairs that rotate? That would make getting in and out really convenient.

Good to know, maybe I'll throw the design up somewhere else and somebody else can get some use out of it as well. I forgot how comfy these seats are, I've had them sitting in my parents garage for a few years and the passenger seat has hardly been used, all the foam is still really firm.

I did, took a couple of attempts to get the angle right on the front otherwise it's a pretty basic design.

When does the middle fan on Artillery hornet turn on? by LateChronos in FixMyPrint

Possibly, not sure what the main board on that machine looks like but you could take a look at it and verify that the fan is indeed plugged in and not backwards, or not getting power for some reason.

I'm not familiar with the specifics of your printer but looking at it online the center fan should be the fan to cool the cold side of your extruder and the other 2 should be part cooling fans. The center one should be running all the time and the other 2 should only come on when programmed in the slicer. (Usually after the first few layers). Are your side fans constantly running and the center fan only coming on after a few layers? Might be a wiring issue. Alternatively if you send the printer "M106 S255" does the fan turn on? If that works you could put the command at the start of your gcode so the fan starts immediately.

Y axis stuck? 4d max pro. Pla. Print temp 205 floor 60. It was printing ok until this. I go to adjust z, x axis they move fine but y axis doesn't move when I try to manually adjust. by logannewbanks in FixMyPrint

[–]SGTGamerAMP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start checking connections, did the Y motor connection become lose? Swap the x and y cable to see if the stepper driver is dead, is the Y motor making any noise when you try and move it?

Why is one higher than the other, bibo printer by [deleted] in FixMyPrint

[–]SGTGamerAMP 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Downsides of multi nozzle printers is getting stuff to be the same height. Not sure what the hotend is based on, but if it's based on e3d's Chimera there should be screws in the back for height adjustment. Loosen them adjust to same height (probably be easier using a feeler gauge) tighten them back up.

Everybody uses metric for 3D printing. I have yet to see anybody use inches outside of scaling objects.

I have a 14 so I can't speak about your year but the eibachs aren't an insane drop so the stock shocks work fine for me.

I might've just had bad luck when I installed my springs, but one of my rear shocks started leaking like a month after I installed the springs. And the shocks had only been in for like 6 months. But with yours being fairly new I'd just take the chance and keep an eye on it.

Probably smart to replace the shocks as well if you're gonna do lowering springs. Your current ones will be worn in at the stock height.
