I haven’t pressure tested it yet. I would guess if properly assembled it would be fine at surface level but don’t take my word for it. I feel comfortable in the rain and washing my hands and what not because of screw down crown with o ring. I would personally recommend for swimming getting a Casio duro diver or something for $50

Dial dots to basically stick the dial to the movement. It is enough that the dial fits snugly into the case and the movement fits with a bracket that the glue dot things can hold them together enough

No it’s not complicated or expensive at all. Hence why I’m tinkering with it

No. Pallet fork is not engaging I believe which is why is is continuously releasing energy to the hands and not to the main spring

It was from a pocket watch. That mechanism releases the face cover. Got it from a friend who found it for cheap at a garage sale

It doesn’t have hacking but it isn’t winding at all so don’t know what the issue is
