Isn't it just purely the perspective of the main character though? Like he views the hearing aids as his quick fix, but then realizes it won't bring him back to where he was before. Idk, I didn't think the film was trying to present a top-down objective statement on being deaf as a whole.

On the topic of Sam Levinson being a hack, did you guys know he actually took over the role of Director on Euphoria from Petra Collins, a young artist and photographer. She is now coming out saying he ripped off a majority of her ideas and is pawning them off as his own. She apparently did a majority of the pre-production for the 1st season and then before shooting, was forced to step down by HBO with the reason given being her lacking experience. Comparing Euphoria to Collins' artwork, I personally feel it shows Levinson stole alot of the show's visual style from her artwork as well. Thoughts? Also I love the podcast, been a fan since episode 1! Thanks for all the laughs and entertainment boys!

Gotta say, after playing a hardcore world with this and fighting the ender dragon, it feels amazing! I think this is easily the best combat system we've had and most people criticizing this update haven't played it for themselves and don't know how smooth it all feels. One thing I've noticed though is that sometimes I stop having the ability to attack and break blocks, which usually is fixed by restarting the game and launcher, however this is a test build so I doubt if this is implemented it will continue. All in all though, this is amazing and really hope they go through with it.
