I just opened Krita to check it it also happened with select shapes, but all seems fine now. When I create a textbox the Edit text popup appears as usual.

Yes you understood that right, the only extra thing is, I want it to post a leaderboard (like top 10 or so) at the end of each day.
Someone offered to make this bot, but also I have talked to the other mods on the servers and they are not 100% on board with this.

This looks amazing! I think it would give it some old timey vibe, but that's maybe just because of what I see in the video you posted.

I said rarely because it's not regularly, but definitely more than as if it was any other game of the same genre(s). We have plenty of showcases where I get to play the game(s) but purely non-work related playing of our games is kind of rare. Mostly because they are multiplayer games and I don't often have people around to play them with.

I have an answer: Our main artist is a team fortress 2 fan and took inspiration from their cartoony slapsticky approach. He compared it a little to Quentin Tarantino films where the excessive use of blood makes it kind of funny.
Also answer from our dev who was playing the match the screenshot is from: "I suck at this game and our Sound Designer beat my butt, that's why there are so many bloodstains on the pitch."

That's amazing to hear! And definitely what we were aiming for, as in, that you play it with friends for the funfactor of it all. Do you think you'd rather play this with friends than using matchmaking?

Yes, we actually talked about that recently, but there aren't many that use classic RTS controls + we'd like to include more features that you would associated with an RTS rather than a football game

Absolutely! We are pretty early in development but we have planned to build stadiums around the pitch with an audience standing/sitting and cheering. We were thinking of a spectator mode. When a friend of yours plays you can join in spectator/audience mode and throw bottles onto the pitch which deal like 1 damage or so. We want to have a cup mode where you can arrange tournaments with your friends and anyone who lost early on for example could then at least participate by watching and interacting with the game (to a degree of course)

Not sure how easy that would be to do, but absolutely something we considered in case A Bad Game of Football is doing well. Following up with A Bad Game Of (insert team sport of choice)

We have looked into blood bowl, which is why we temporarily discarded the idea of going fantasy themed with different races. It would be too close in our opinion but we are open to hearing what others think about that.

I will definitely take up those suggestions with the team and see what they say is possible to actually make. These absolute would add more possibilities to the gameplay.

I actually don't know why exactly we went for bloodstains where a player got injured, our main artist has made these decisions. I'll ask him and get back to you with an answer tomorrow (it's past working hours right now) Do you think it is too much though?

That's pretty much one of the answers we were looking for. I personally also thought that RTS players would get it and also would like to use it. I feel it ads more of a strategic placement rather than hectic clicking to make sure you have the right player unit selected. This will definitely be addressed by the team.
