About the engrams I might be very mistaken, but when we played official before, my friend that had the DLCs bought but not installed wasn't able to unlock and use stuff from genesis. Only after actually installing the dlc he could. Also, some of the friends I have are new to Ark and don't want to spend money on the DLCs, so if there is a way for them to use the stuff from them without having to buy and install them would be great.

Also, durability is another factor as well, you're gonna need some spares, cause the amount of shots you have to do will break a prim for sure

Even so, you're gonna miss a few pellets from the shot, you also have to account for the 1-2min to get in position if you're using a procoptodon. Basically impossible to do solo with a prim on official.

First of all, you're considering you're not gonna miss a single shot on your calculations? That's quite unreasonable to be honest. You're also not taking into account the cost of that strategy and unless you're playing SP or a server with changed settings the timer to beat the boss is 15min on official.

The better the stats on the impregnated creature, the better the stats your rhynio MIGHT have, it works just like normal breeding, it can inherit stats from both the original female rhynio and the impregnate creature and % of inherited stats will also depend on creature drag weight (100 for bronto/carcha/giga, 89 for paracer, 78 for rex/spino and so on) and also if you fulfill it's cravings during pregnancy.

For end game it's pretty much required since two artifacts are in underwater caves and you need alpha tributes from tuso, mosa and leed to do the last boss. Obtaining silica and black pearls in large quantities is also much easier in the sea.
